Very bad and cold pizza 🍕🥶
will never let you get a special that you see offered on TV.... delivery is always cold.... customer service is still just a class they need to take.... it was really good 6 years ago..... but .... oh we'll....
Their pizzas have such great flavors. The service is terrific and the place is always packed with diners and takeout orders. This is a gem!
Have to say the pepperoni pie was very good. Sauce and crust were terrific. Definitely worth the stop... trust test, garlic powder and peppers on the table, yes!
This is the real thing, Virginia. I am a connoisseur of pizza. At most places, I find it lacking, but not at Tony’s. Thin crust, not-too-sweet sauce, lots of garlic and real mozzarella, pies cooked in a real pizza oven, make for great pizza. And like in NY, you can order just a slice. Fuggetabout the other places and go to Tony’s.
The first thing I noticed when I walked in was that this place is run by Italians. It looks like a New York City pizzeria. The pizza was EXCELLENT and just like a New York slice; fold-able and slightly chewy, a good amount of cheese, hot but not too hot. PERFECT. I will be back, and soon!
Tony’s pizza was fantastic! Loved the crispy crust. Sliced sausage and mushrooms were yummy. Sauce was perfect. I would say one of the best NY style pizzas I’ve eaten. Great stuff!
We stopped early last Tuesday a very quiet evening. Chicken Picatta for my wife and Penne Puttanesca for me. A glass of Chianti and a Peronist Beer quenched our thirst.
We had been recommended this place by a local friend--highly recommended--so we sought it out. And yes, it was worth the time to get there and the effort to find it. There are a lot of food choices in that Fair Lakes Parkway area, and this place is just about at the very back, so don't be distracted by all of the others as you slowly work your way there. There are lots of big cases with huge pieces on display, all ready to have a slice pulled and heated for you. The service is quick. We noticed a lot of folks coming in for takeout, but there also were quite a few folks there for eat-in, which is what we did. The wait wasn't too long, and the teenage crew brought it out to us when it was ready. We got real plates, but plastic flatware; when requested, the staff brought us real flatware. The place is clean and very open, with floor to ceiling windows. The booths are a little tight, and there is a lot of traffic in and out, so you might want to distance yourself from the door. Bottom Line: traditional pizza, prepped and served like in NYC, at a reasonable price.
This is great pizza with a nicely flavored sauce. I got the meat pizza and it was loaded with toppings. It was a little confusing to find where to order, but the pizza was worth it. Will definitely be back.
Restaurantji Recommends
The pizza was amazings. It is all natural and cooked to order. The wait is a little long because everything is homemade but worth the little exra wait time.
I ordered pizza and it didn't came to long even though there's a lot of customers. The whole experience and will probably bring my friends here next time.
This place is unreal!
Average Pizza Hut.
Went with a friend for dinner. Restaurant was confusing coming in. Very crowded and wasn’t sure where or how to order. Line was formed for pick up/to go and ordering for eating in is done before sitting down. Once we figured it though, had a very nice dinner. Food came quickly and was very fresh and tasty. Ordered steak and cheese and it was very good. Friend had a Greek salad that she said was also good. Prices were reasonable. Portions were good also. Would definitely go back. Wouldn’t recommend to someone that wants peaceful atmosphere at dinner, extremely crowded. Staff was pleasant.
