As a Yemeni, I am deeply disappointed with the terrible service we received. After making a mistake, the women who came over told us that we could not get a refund for the overcharge. She spoke quietly and acted as if it was our fault, even asking my husband to give her his number so she could refund him. This was unprofessional. The food was okay, but the fahsa was watery.

Terrible. We had a terrible experience. We didn’t even get greeted when we walked in. Everyone seemed to be in a bad mood. The place was so hot. The AC was not even turned on when we walked in. The moment a group of what appeared to be friends of the owner arrived, they immediately catered to them and proceeded to turn on the air conditioner. The food had no flavor whatsoever. The waitress had an attitude and never came once to check on us once the food was served. We ordered two teas to drink with our meals and they forgot but still tried to charge us for them. Super disappointed and do not recommend

All the food they make is so delicious and flavorful. I could eat here everyday & the service is very friendly. I highly recommended everyone try this place for some authentic middle eastern food that slaps.
I ordered two separate times from this place. 1st time they took the order and money and then said they had no delivery driver. No refund was issued. 2nd time they took the order and payment then said they didn't have the item I ordered. Still no refund was issued. Do I need to remind this establishment that a trade of money comes with a good or service. You cant just pretend you cant speak English then avoid refunds because it costs you fees. Good food and bad experiences will not make for a positive review. Not everything that glitters is gold.

I had one of the worst dining experiences at Saba Restaurant. The service was absolutely horrible from the start. The server kept staring at us in a very unprofessional and uncomfortable way, and another young lady removed our plates without even asking if we were finished. To make things worse, I saw cockroaches both in the bathroom and near the kitchen completely unacceptable and disturbing. While some of the food was decent, the sambousa was terrible, and the lentil soup had some strange white substance in it that made the taste weird. Throughout the meal, staff kept watching us while we were eating, which felt intrusive. When I asked for boxes to take our leftovers, they looked annoyed and acted upset. On top of that, they added an extra 15% charge without telling us beforehand. In the end, we paid $50 just for one plate of rice and soup, which is outrageous for the poor experience we had. This place is very disappointing, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
I was excited to find food that reminded me of middleeast, and the flavors definitely delivered on authenticity. The floor seating creates a nice traditional atmosphere that I appreciated.
However, I have to be honest about a major issue: there were mice around the floor seating area. This is a serious health and safety concern that completely overshadowed the positive aspects of my experience. I am attaching video evidence of this issue

Food was good and service was satisfactory , but the restaurant imposed a 15% “service fee” without disclosure, then expected an additional tip plus 6% tax. This amounted to nearly a 40% surcharge, which is unreasonable and constitutes a deceptive business practice. I paid only to avoid creating a scene with my guests, but such undisclosed charges are unfair and unacceptable. I will not recommend this establishment and tactics like these will ultimately ruin their business in the long run. I hope they realize it soon.
