We've been here twice and both times everything has been outstanding from the service to the food. Great for families and kids. Always a fun time. We will definitely be going back. For those that want sushi, they make it fresh and have a robot that brings it to your tables. Decent bar as well. Located minutes from George Mason University.

If you're coming for anything other than hibachi, beware. I was here for dinner on a Saturday and the entire back half of the restaurant was packed with several birthday groups getting hibachi. Normally this would be fine and I get that hibachi is a show but wow... I could barely have a conversation at my table because of how loud, obnoxious, and distracting the hibachi tables were. I think there were at least 5 separate birthdays and every time it was time to since happy birthday to a new group, they'd play this super loud song throughout the speakers for the entire restaurant to hear AND there was a drum involved. I came here to catch up with some friends and this was clearly not the place to do that lol I wouldn't come back unless I wanted hibachi. They seemed like they were having fun. But for the non-hibachi tables...not good. Additionally, service was slow and it took 10 minutes for a server to come by the tables after we had sat down. The sushi itself was fine.

Very happy to have found this place! The food was good, the atmosphere was fun, and the restaurant was very clean! Our chef was funny and very accommodating for our food allergies in the group. We will definitely come back, and I have recommended this place to anyone who asks!

I'm so sad that this place has made some changes for the worse. Not sure if they are under new management but this is no longer the Samurai we loved so will not be coming back. 1- No longer giving shrimp appetizer and instead doing the catch the food game with pieces of chicken. 2-Changed the condiment trays to smaller double version which means if you tilt to get sauce out the other sauce pours into the next compartment. 3- Birthdays- they used to have several staff members come out for the drum beating wishes and now it's just one solo individual (Friday night). 4- They have some silly robot that comes out with the sushi (I'm guessing the removal of shrimp paid for this gimmick) 5- Maybe it was a bad chef night but food was under seasoned. 6- We were rushed out with no offer of dessert and never a refill. Even the guests sitting next to us commented the same. Bring back the old version! These changes are not welcome.

Wanna make a great memory with family on a special occasion, this is definitely the spot to try! I have never been disappointed with the food, service and experience, and the staff always goes the extra mile to put a smile on your face. The price is always reasonable, and the selection of food has great variety from Hibachi or Appetizers and even Sushi. Don’t come here and don’t purchase the Groupon. If you have your own family and someone has there own family your not allowed to use it. The cook was rude as hell and chicken was dry as hell. Don’t waste your time. They only let one of us use the Groupon when I have my own family doesn’t make any sense.

My family and I are skeptics when it comes to good sushi places or places that are recommended, but we checked this out for my birthday and boy they did NOT disappoint! We made a reservation just in case, not crowded, seated right away. Great customer service, amazing sushi, and awesome hibachi! Our chef and server were very fun, friendly and entertaining. We even got a magic show by our server Ryan! Highly recommend! Can't wait to go again!

We did a quick sushi lunch here with our kids as they were off school. Together with the soup and salad, it was very pleasant and the sushi was very good overall. We probably would not order the yellowtail again but otherwise everything was really great and affordable too! ? We enjoyed the hot Green tea refills. Recommend for a quick lunch! I’ve been to this place 5-6 times now and the sushi is absolutely amazing. The rolls are very affordable & everything is very fresh and delicious. They recently redid the menu and removed a roll I previously loved but everything is still amazing! 10/10
