What an amazing spot, an absolute hidden gem in the Fairfax area. Jason is amazing, drinks were amazing, and the sushi was great. Really nice decor in the restaurant as well. Will definitely be coming back!! And many more times.

Terrible experience I just had at songbird. The noodle combination I had were half cold, and the eggdrop soup looked like some poison potion, it’s not even yellow. And the fortune cookies were very stale. Terrible never ordering from here again.

Songbird has a really nice vibe — cozy spot with good energy and friendly service. The food was tasty and well-presented, though a bit on the pricier side. Great place to chill with friends or grab a date night drink. Solid 4 stars.

Phenomenal food, service, and drinks. Originally wasn’t going to partake in beverages but glad I did—they have some of the most creative and delicious drinks in the area. Had the Mushu Pork, Mapo Tofu, Egg drop soups, green beans, and a few cocktails (Peaches n Cream/lychee pearl).
The atmosphere was fun and laidback. I enjoy having personal space so I really appreciated that each table had generous spacing between each other.
Highly recommend and looking forward to our next visit.

Picked up an order of their “famous general tsao” chicken, which I also requested to be made extra crispy. It came out the opposite of crispy. The flavor was also resembling chemicals and way too much salt. I really wanted to like it but I will not be returning. Good white rice and portion was big.

The food was good. The service was mediocre. 5 of us ordered entrees at the same time. Unfortunately, the entrees came out about 5 minutes apart, so we could not enjoy our dinner together. The last meal was over 15 minutes after we had all been served. The server tried to give us a Mai Tai cocktail. Even though a Pad Tai entree was ordered. This was an error on the entry of the order from the waitress. She finally realized her error and apologized, but no effort was made to comp the meal. Most restaurants will do this when there is such an obvious error. It was awkward. Also, 22% gratuity was added and there was tax on top of that gratuity. Is that even legal or is that a money grab? We were looking forward to a good experience as we like to eat out often. Unfortunately, we won't be returning here anytime soon.

It's more of a bar than a restaurant. Chinese dishes were extremely sugary and must have been precooked because they were served about 3 minutes after we ordered. Our server disappeared mid-meal and we had to flag someone down for anything we needed from that point forward. Strange experience.

Great food. Great service. Went with my brother and mother on Saturday. Wait time was not long and staff was awesome. Mind you I have a mother who is super picky and she enjoyed the food so much she wants to go back! Which coming from her is like a 10/5 stars.
