We recently visited the Starbucks in Fairfax while staying next door at the Hilton and honestly, it was exactly what we needed—good, reliable coffee to kickstart our day. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was cozy enough for a quick break. Of course, you expect quality from Starbucks, and they delivered. However, the prices for coffee and snacks here could make you think you’re paying for liquid gold! Still, if you’re in the area and craving a caffeine fix, this Starbucks won’t disappoint—just be ready to open your wallet a bit wider than usual.

I’ve visited many Starbucks before, but this one will become one of my favorite ones! It’s clean, the workers care about their customers and my order actually felt fresh!

Nice team and good drinks but music is too loud to have a conversation or get any work done inside. They need to reduce the music volume drastically IMO.

I went to get my Pistachio Latte, and it was fantastic—just the right balance of not too sweet with a delightful pistachio flavor and creamy texture. It was absolutely perfect. The Pistachio Cream Cold Brew was equally impressive, strong and satisfying. This Starbucks location stands out with its quiet, spacious atmosphere, cleanliness, and easy access to complimentary parking outside. Plus, the service was fast.

I come here often, especially with my family and particularly on Sunday evenings. I enjoy the atmosphere; it’s family-friendly, quiet, and always has parking available.

The barista this morning was very aggressive and rude I was waiting for a food item I ordered and she was just standing there and when she saw me she asked what I was waiting for and I stumbled with my words (I have a speech impediments) and she kept yelling “what are you waiting for what did you order?” Which made me stammer more and then when I said what I ordered she rolled her eyes and slowly walked to the warmer grabbed my sandwich and threw it on the counter. She was wearing a black thing around her head (religious wear) but anyway she was very rude and unprofessional I used to work at Starbucks. She should not be a barista at all.

Alex, whom I believe may have been the shift manager or supervisor delivered the worst customer service I've ever experienced at a Starbucks, after being a Starbucks raving fan for over 20 years.

I only gave one star because my husband's drink was Ok, and the barista who made my drink apologized prefusively, and admitted that she was inexperienced, and likely missed a step while preparing my drink which had a terribly bitter taste.

However, we were completely offended and disappointed because although the barista was still making another customer's drink, Alex refused to allow her to add the missing ingredient to my drink, (which was my initial request) and/or make me a new drink. And instead Alex told us that the store was "now" closed and he was not going to permit the barista to correct my drink, or to make me a new drink.

Additionally, Alex was hesitant to give us a refund, and I had to press him into doing so.

I want to be clear that I ordered a drink that I have ordered many many times at Starbucks all across the United States. This time the barista missed the mark terribly preparing my decaf, caramel frappuccino. So, instead of the drink having a sweet caramel flavor, it had a very bitter black coffee flavor.

When I bought it to the barista's attention and ask for the missing ingredient or a remake of the drink Alex, the manager on duty informed me they were "now" closed and he refused to allow the barista to remake my drink or further service me. Although they were still in the process of making drinks for another customer, who entered the store, and ordered, after we did.

The experience was rather embarrassing because I had to press Alex the manager to refund my money. Even though I never stepped away from the service area and literally took one sip of the drink that was so bitter, it made me gag.

My next action regarding this matter will be to call the Starbucks corporate office when it opens tomorrow, because I truly feel like Alex should apologize for his ill behavior towards us, and Alex should also receive additional customer service training, or go work somewhere else.

Alex's attitude was very callous, abrasive and Un-Starbucks like!!! We all have bad days sometimes, but Alex's ill mannerisms towards us were completely uncalled for, and unacceptable.

It's the day after my initial post. I've decided not to call Starbucks corporate office and instead to forgive Alex, and pray for his life to improve.
