Nice place, but do not stay there too long. Otherwise they will ask you to order something. Even though i already ordered 2 drinks. Keep that in mind, and good luck!

Wonderful staff here. Christina and Josue are so kind. Lots of cozy tables to sit at and work or chat. We'll be stopping here again!

Rude gentleman on the phone, I called them to ask a question and he just hangs up the phone on me without even saying goodbye. Manager needs to train their employees better, as I never had this issue at other locations. It’s not hard to just give a decent response and not be so rude.

It seems like this is a recurring issue at this location with rude service based on reading other reviews. I’ll be sure to let others know to avoid THIS Starbucks in Fairfax due to poor service.

MY FAVORITE STARBUCKS IN THE DMV / D.C. AREA!
Lots of outdoor seating, courteous & friendly staff - most especially Austin (he is a real ace!)
Plenty of free parking and plus there are five (5) places to eat in the same small shopping center. Also great is that there is no drive-thru at this Starbucks, so the staff can really take care of the sit-down and pre-ordering / mobile order / APP customers. (The ones with drive throughs seem more tense and flurry of activity.) This makes for a more relaxed cafe environment.
PS: Please ignore their older reviews as this Starbucks is under new management and is a well oiled machine !

"Five stars is not enough! Every barista here is wonderful—they are engaging, always smiling, and deliver my Iced White Mocha perfectly. But Katie deserves a raise! She went completely out of her way to write a note suggesting a money-saving alternative to my usual drink. I finally tried it a month later and was absolutely amazed. It's delicious and saves me $3+ a cup! Her thoughtful suggestion—made during the morning craziness—shows a dedication to customer value that is truly rare. Thank you, Katie, for making my budget (and my mornings) better!"

We just moved to this area and this is my new Starbucks! It was clean and the Baristas were nice. My drink was made quick and a lady name Ronda offered my small kiddo a plate for her muffin and got her a fork. Next time I’ll use the pretty coffee mugs they have

I usually refrain from leaving negative reviews, even when the service or attitude is not satisfactory. However, my experience at this location yesterday was truly disappointing.
Firstly, the coffee quality was embarrassing, and I noticed a bad drainage smell on the cup lid, which was very off-putting. Additionally, when I asked the cashier to check my gift card balance, he told me that the card was not activated. His attitude came across as rude, and I felt as if he was being dishonest about the balance.
I was confused at the time because I had received multiple $100 Starbucks gift cards and was unsure of the exact balance on each one. However, when I checked at home, I found that the card actually had a balance of $19.49.

They are consistently giving me whipped cream instead of foam that I pay for and I guess they think I don't notice. Most of the time I ask to redo and others times I'm headed to work so I don't bother. It is the closet to work but I am going to stop going.

Im usually not big on coffee but of late I've been getting something for the mornings. I will NOT however, be going back to this location. I've witnessed more than once the person who I assume the manager is barking and swearing at employees, and today this same person treated a woman ahead of me like dirt and then acted like her time was too good for me just to place a basic order when I was up! I'll be using the Fairfax marketplace location down the road from now on because I've been in that position as an employee with a wretched boss too many times to put my money into a place like that.

I don't usually write reviews, but this Starbucks used to be my favorite spot because the employees are friendly and I've always had good experiences. Since 2-3 weeks ago, I don't know if management changed, but I ordered food there and was waiting around like 15 minutes to get it??? I noticed that the woman who was warming food was unprofessional with other customers and seemed distracted with other tasks. I'm more writing out of concern because now they always seem to be out of stuff and it's really frustrating that this spot doesn't hit like it used to.
