Delicious ice cream- so many flavors. We spoke with the owner and he shared that the ice cream is made in India. They have classic flavors and flavors from India. I had their mango ice cream - so creamy and delicious!

Tons of flavor options, very good ice cream!

Come here! They have Indian dessert ice cream flavors! (In addition to all of the classic ones) I got the Rasmalai and the Gulab Jamun and I wanted to go back for more.

He sold me ice cream that was already melted! Run far far away, I’m pretty sure he dipped his fingers in the Alphonso mango & other favors. The ice cream is low quality & not stored properly.

Alas. All good things must come to an end. The ice cream here was always average but the best part was the price. Not sure if it is inflation or new management but it doesn't make sense to go there and have average tasting ice cream at their current price points.

Also, i may be wrong here but the Indian flavors seem store bought. The sitafal or custard/sugar apple tasted exactly like the vadilal brand ice cream that you get at any indian store.

This place has been my number 1 favorite ice cream shop for years. Although the price of a single scoop doubled in price, that's not the issue, today I got skimped out of my mind. I asked for a sample and the man put merely a speck of ice cream on the little spoon. That part is also not too big of a deal, it's just a sample, but then when it came to my actual order he was scooping like each scoop came out of his paycheck, and my friend who I recommended this place to, decided to get mini scoops which used to be 50 cents per scoop (now $1.25 per) and he literally got half mini scoops. I'm not sure if management changed but this experience made me kind of sad.

Happy Home

My wife and I stopped by here - had last ordered during COVID several years ago - an unhappy experience - who didn’t have challenges back then, when just staying open took hero effort?
We thought it time to check them out and went in. Unusual was what effectively was a hybrid store, serving a southwest Asian flavor influenced pallet of ice cream flavors seen first. For the uninitiated, we happily partook of the offered samples. A second freezer, and with its own board, had a good selection of standard flavors. We liked the flavors we tried, from both freezers, enough so we ordered two hand-packed quarts before we left. Still challenging to keep a business open - especially one that survives on frozen treats, through the winter. They do have a good line of ice cream, certainly on par with Baskin Robins, and they want to have happy customers. We are, and expect to return.

Pleasantly surprised with this place, has a lot of original base flavors of Ice Cream but also plenty of choices for you “Indian” flavor ice cream where there’s “Paan” or “Tutti-Fruti” or “Sitafal”. Great flavors overall. 5/5

I was on the hunt for some delicious homemade ice cream in the Fairfax area, especially since our usual go-to, Peterson’s, is closed for the winter. That’s when we stumbled upon this hidden gem. To say I was impressed is an understatement. The ice cream had a wonderfully thick consistency, rich flavors, and generous portions. The service was top-notch, and the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. I highly recommend trying the Chocolate Brownie, Oreo, and Mint Chip flavors they’re all fantastic. We’ll definitely be back!

What a wonderful find for us so close to home. The ice cream was rich, creamy, and there were so many flavors to choose from. My favorite was the coconut, my wife enjoyed the kesar (saffron). And super-fun and welcoming atmosphere.

Really (and I mean REALLY) amazing place. Best ice cream around and the malt shakes are even better. Homely little ice cream shop with a decent variety of flavors.
There is still the big issue of hours however. The hours posted on the shop and google maps are not followed. It seems the shop is opened at a whim, making it extremely difficult to actually get ice cream. I stop by often and 90% of the time (afternoon and evening) it is closed. Not only that, but the hours seem to be very inconvenient times on top of the inconsistency. Open hours aside, this place makes for an amazing ice cream shop.
