My wife and I stopped by here - had last ordered during COVID several years ago - an unhappy experience - who didn’t have challenges back then, when just staying open took hero effort? We thought it time to check them out and went in. Unusual was what effectively was a hybrid store, serving a southwest Asian flavor influenced pallet of ice cream flavors seen first. For the uninitiated, we happily partook of the offered samples. A second freezer, and with its own board, had a good selection of standard flavors. We liked the flavors we tried, from both freezers, enough so we ordered two hand-packed quarts before we left. Still challenging to keep a business open - especially one that survives on frozen treats, through the winter. They do have a good line of ice cream, certainly on par with Baskin Robins, and they want to have happy customers. We are, and expect to return.

Pleasantly surprised with this place, has a lot of original base flavors of Ice Cream but also plenty of choices for you “Indian” flavor ice cream where there’s “Paan” or “Tutti-Fruti” or “Sitafal”. Great flavors overall. 5/5

I was on the hunt for some delicious homemade ice cream in the Fairfax area, especially since our usual go-to, Peterson’s, is closed for the winter. That’s when we stumbled upon this hidden gem. To say I was impressed is an understatement. The ice cream had a wonderfully thick consistency, rich flavors, and generous portions. The service was top-notch, and the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. I highly recommend trying the Chocolate Brownie, Oreo, and Mint Chip flavors they’re all fantastic. We’ll definitely be back!

What a wonderful find for us so close to home. The ice cream was rich, creamy, and there were so many flavors to choose from. My favorite was the coconut, my wife enjoyed the kesar (saffron). And super-fun and welcoming atmosphere.

Really (and I mean REALLY) amazing place. Best ice cream around and the malt shakes are even better. Homely little ice cream shop with a decent variety of flavors. There is still the big issue of hours however. The hours posted on the shop and google maps are not followed. It seems the shop is opened at a whim, making it extremely difficult to actually get ice cream. I stop by often and 90% of the time (afternoon and evening) it is closed. Not only that, but the hours seem to be very inconvenient times on top of the inconsistency. Open hours aside, this place makes for an amazing ice cream shop.

Not the same store!! The owner is changed!! This was our favorite spot for the past 3 years. My kids and our neighbor kids all grew up with this ice cream store, but not anymore. We’ve been waiting for this store to be open as they were closed for a while for “renovation.” But this is not true. It looks exactly the same inside, but more Indian originated ice creams are available, which we don’t know what it means by looking at the names. The owner was yelling at his employee by giving us too much. We ordered one more, and the owner snatched the scoop and scraped at the side of the bucket where there were no ice cream but only the ice, then the scoop is so small, so it fell into the cone, eventually my kid got ice cream cone only with a tiny scrap from the ice bucket. lol too funny. This was a ridiculous experience. I would recommend Woody’s icecream if you’re looking for something local. I will tell all my neighborhood that this is not the same store anymore where we brought our kids and had a gatherings.

Looks like new ownership took over and the quality has dropped dramatically and the prices have increased. Nowhere to sit, had a bleach smell, and looked decrepit. It’s not the same. Please do not patronize.

We celebrated my mother's 98 birthday here. (Her favorite food is ice cream.) We had about 10 adults and we had a very nice time. The ice cream was delicious. It had ample indoor seating and the owner was very nice. He set up the tables prior to our arrival and cleaned up after us. My mom had a fabulous birthday celebration with several of her close friends. I highly recommend for a small birthday celebration for all ages.

I say this with incredible sadness. This was without a doubt the worst "Milkeshake" I've ever had the displeasure of tasting. Ordered a Milkshake and got 99% milk 0.5 Ice cream 0.5 Ice. If you are ever looking for a Milkshake in the area look far far away
