This feels exactly what I want a sushi place to feel like. It is clean with a nice modern feel and the service is professional but kind. The food came out fast and all of the sushi was delicious, my favorite being the maguro nigiri. I do wish the rice to fish ratio was a bit higher, but I will happily come back despite that minor difference in opinion.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had in Fairfax. I came in with one child, and the hostess immediately said we would have to wait a long time, even though there were empty tables available. My child was so upset that he started crying.
As I was preparing to leave, I noticed an empty table and took a photo. The hostess rushed out to confront me, and staff quickly placed a “Reserved” sign on it. Later, they even asked if I wanted to sit at that “already reserved” table. It was obvious they were prioritizing larger groups for bigger checks and tips. Parents dining with a child deserve fairness and respect, not discrimination.

Sushi Cho is a fantastic spot for sushi lovers, offering both freshness and creativity. The rolls are beautifully presented with vibrant toppings like tuna, salmon, mango, and even jalapeños, giving each bite a unique twist. The sashimi platter was also generous and incredibly fresh, with melt-in-your-mouth quality.
One thing to note is that the restaurant space is on the smaller side, so it can feel a bit tight when it’s busy. However, the cozy atmosphere adds to the charm, making it a nice spot for casual dining or a quick sushi fix.
Service was attentive and friendly, which made the experience pleasant overall. Despite the limited space, the quality of food and presentation makes Sushi Cho absolutely worth a visit.

Given that we discovered this place during a cursory search and had never heard of them before, we went in with low expectations despite the other very positive reviews. We were very humbled by the friendly atmosphere and overall high quality of the sushi. The rolls we chose were Tropical Thunder and Bonita Señorita and the fresh mango and other ingredients really delivered an amazing experience. The more traditional yellowtail sashimi appetizer that we picked was also incredible and well prepared. Lastly, the grilled salmon belly nigiri was a surprisingly delicious treat and will definitelyhave to be ordered on a future visit. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back when we're in the area again! A+

The food was excellent, interesting menu items, good quality, but what really made this place awesome was the service! Our server overheard us doing a happy anniversary cheers and made a point to bring us an extra dish and a dessert to celebrate- it was so kind and I was really surprised that he took the time to clock what was going on as we made no special requests nor told him directly. All the staff was super kind and responsive. Will definitely be going back even for non celebratory dinners!

I went here for my birthday and it was such a good experience. They have 100+ specialty rolls and all of it was fantastic. We got the miso soup which was hot and delicious. The squid salad was a favorite. All the rolls were artsy and delicious. The grapefruit sake was meh honestly but we just didnt like that. They brought out a smoked roll for free and which was fire. and since it was my birthday they brought out a mochi cake with a candle which was so special. Best place for sushi in NOVA ive tried. Definitely maje a reservation beforehand.
