Absolutely great sushi and great service! Ordered the dragon roll, salmon lover roll, volcano roll, and 2 California rolls. Everything was perfect. We ordered take out after eating there several days prior (second pic with flying dragon roll). I’d say the price is very reasonable for such delicious and fresh sushi. Service was excellent. Will be our go to place for both dine in and take out!

Sushi Cho has solid quality sushi. It’s definitely not the best I’ve had if I’m comparing it to omakase experiences in NYC or SF, but for what you pay for the boats or combos, you’ll get your moneys worth. It’s hard to find decent/good quality sushi restaurants in Northern Virginia, but this place I would give a solid 8/10

This restaurant is a must-try for those seeking Japanese cuisine in the DMV area. We can confidently say that they have some of the freshest sashimi in Northern Virginia! It has been a while since our last visit, but the memories remain fresh. The fresh sashimi, sushi, and non-sushi food items were exquisite, and we had a fantastic time indulging in them.

Great atmosphere and fresh sushi. The presentation and decor was minimal but enjoyable. Service was great and the sushi chefs gave us a flaming Nigiri on the house. The one thing I will say about the sushi is that its really big. In my opinion it too big to get the right bite of everything all at once and for me it took away from the experience. I've had alot of sushi and this is the first time I think the tall specialty and Maki rolls made it hard to enjoy. The salad and miso soup were good. We ordered 7 color rainbow roll, cowboy roll, crazy horse roll, sweetheart roll and Triple Match roll with a chicken Karaage and Gyoza soup.

Their sashimi and rolls are delicious and super fresh every time I visit (and I've come pretty often haha). I especially love their tako wasabi...but everything is fantastic! I have brought a lot of family and friends here and they all loved it here and thought the same - food is very fresh, amazing quality, and everything is very very tasty! The restaurant is also very modern, chic, and always very clean as well! The owners, chefs, manager, and servers are all amazing! Every time I go they are always very welcoming and attentive. Shout out to Kai who always goes above and beyond! The only downside is that parking is limited but that's not under their control! :)This restaurant really is a fantastic addition to the DMV area! ?
Sushi Cho is a relatively new addition to the restaurant scene, and after several visits, I felt compelled to share my thoughts. The quality of their sushi stands out as exceptional in the area, with thick and generous cuts of nigiri that truly impress. However, I found their udon to be rather plain in comparison. Additionally, the selection of clam nigiri in their nigiri combo didn't quite convince me, but the option to swap it out for something else alleviates this issue.Parking can be a bit of a challenge, which may be a downside for some patrons. However, the interior of the restaurant is exceptional, albeit with a slightly modern aesthetic that differs from more traditional atmospheres like Tachibana.Overall, I'd say Sushi Cho and Sushi Yama are equally great choices in the Fairfax/Oakton area. If you appreciate top-notch sushi quality and a contemporary ambiance, Sushi Cho is definitely worth a visit.
