I so wanted to give this place 5 stars but I can't get over the fact that they use brown gravy for the tonkatsu sauce! Everything was delicious except I couldn't eat the tonkatsu because of the sauce. I took it home so that I could use the stuff I had at home. I could get over the fact that it is in an office building and the decor is plain and simple but that sauce. Sorry. The sushi rolls were good, and the prices reasonable. I would definitely come back.

We've ordered from this place several times now. Highly recommended!! Food is excellent and price is awesome. Chicken cutlet combo is an excellent deal. Love their house ginger salad dressing too. It is kinda hard to find this place since it's inside some business building.

Just okay sushi. Better than grocery store sushi, but no where near the best sushi I've had. A little hard to find in the blue awning building. But cheap if you want some decent quick sushi.

Great food, great prices! Fast and friendly. Hard to find, but worth it.

My colleague and I ordered sushi delivery for lunch. Two of the rolls were omitted from the delivery, and when we called to notify the restaurant, the response was "we'll remember for next time." Hard pass.

I went on the recommendation from YELP so I think my expectations might have been to high. First of all, it is really hard to find. Once you find the building, it's even difficult to locate in the building. I ordered California rolls, avacado and tuna rolls and avacado rolls. You get what you pay for...I didn't consider the sushi fantastic, but it wasn't bad either. I would say middle of the road. I'm not sure that I would go back because I'd rather pay more and have outstanding sushi. Or maybe I need to give it one more chance to see if I just happened to catch them on an off day.

I'm come to terms with the fact that NoVA is not a great place for sushi. But this attempt at a sushi restaurant is possibly the worst one I've tried. The unusually low prices lured me in. Located in the back of an office complex that also houses a bank and a pain management clinic, it is very hard to find. If coming from Chain Bridge to Jermantown Rd, you will need to turn left on to Fairfax Blvd and then left again to get to the office complex with blue awnings. Take another left and a right to get to the back of the building. Once inside, you can take another left down a hallway to find Sushi Plus on your right. It is difficult enough to navigate without traffic and I can only imagine how terrible it would be during traffic. The plus side is that there is plenty of parking. Inside the restaurant there is only a small wraparound counter and few tables, some beverage fridges and other snacks for purchase under fluorescent lighting, like some odd mash-up between a convenience store and a small office. There was only one man working at the counter. Since I had ordered to go, my transaction was brief but the service was fine. When I brought it home, I unboxed the six rolls that I had ordered with some trepidation. I had ordered two salmon avocado rolls (for some reason 4 pcs rather than 8), one yellowtail, one spider roll, and one shrimp tempura roll. The quality of the raw fish was questionable and the pickled ginger that was served with it overwhelmed me with a smell that seemed off. The spider roll and shrimp tempura roll both had a brown sauce drizzled on top that was nearly flavorless and the consistency seemed weird - watery sauce that soaked into the roll. The rice did not taste like it was seasoned and the nori was not crisp. Overall the sushi was on par with a lower end sushi from a grocery store and worse than Whole Foods sushi. I feel like I could have made better sushi at home myself. I hate to diss a small business but for sushi, if the quality is not there I can't accept it. Although the prices were very tempting, I would rather pay more for quality fish.

This is THE BEST place to get sushi. The quality of the sushi is good AND it's significantly less $$$ than every other place in fairfax. 1.50$ per 4pc. Small place with little decor, hole in the wall type of establishment. Definitely coming back here.

Very small place, but for the price it's amazing. Really glad I found this place, and highly recommend.

In the building with the blue awnings. Go through the west door and then take a left. They have drinks and snacks like a convenience store as well. Decent but not stellar quality. But it's SO cheap! Great buy.

WHAT A GEM!!! I almost kind of want to keep this place a secret, but I know it's not fair to Sushi Plus - they really deserve all the attention they can get! Their menu is actually extensive for a small eatery, but still modest enough where they can focus on the quality! For appetizers, they serve items such such as yaki gyoza, edamame, miso soup, and shumai; they also have teriyaki and u-don, breakfast items, and daily specials. Let's not forget about the sushi, which they offer nigiris and maki rolls. I had a hankering for maki rolls, so I ordered the Rainbow Roll (California roll topped with tuna, salmon, and red snapper) and a Shrimp Tempura Roll (filled with deep-fried shrimp, cucumber, avocado, and crab). OH, BOY - both of these were made-to-order, tasted super fresh, and was just so delicious! It definitely satisfied all kinds of cravings!!! I actually really loved the Rainbow Roll, as the mini 'crab salad' was creamy and savory, and the sashimi slices of the tuna, the salmon, and the snapper just added another layer of decadence. Did I mention that the rice was also perfectly cooked? No under- or overcooked rice here! This Korean-owned small little sushi eatery is located in a business building, across from the Ford dealership off of Fairfax Blvd - stick with the building with the blue awnings (closer to the Comfort Inn), and just go around to your left, and you'll see a sign. You go through the side glass doors, make a first left, and the eatery will be to your right. You won't miss the large signage. The owner/sushi chef was super kind! Even though there were only about 3 tables and it's more of a take-out kind of a place, you can still sit there and enjoy your meal. I can see this place getting super busy during the lunch rush as well as those who pick-up orders for dinner. Just note that this place is only opened during the weekdays, and they do close early (at 5 PM). I highly recommend in checking this place out - it's definitely a gem in Fairfax, and I can't wait to go back and try out the rest of their rolls, the nigiris, and their teriyaki bowls! +delicious and fresh maki rolls! +fresh fish! +friendly and kind owner! +located in a business center (go to the one with the blue awnings, next to Comfort Inn)
