Overall, it is your typical neighborhood sushi place, nothing more or nothing less.
Food - The fish tasted fresh but the quality of rice was not great. The rice was flaky and longer than the finer sushi grade short or medium grade rice. Completely understand the subpar quality in the rice for pricing. They also didn’t use the shari, vinegar rice, to add for overall umami. At least it wasn’t mushy like some neighborhood sushi place.
Service - since it’s nearby George Mason, they seemed to have hired some college kids to serve. They have zero situational awareness and come by occasionally when called to fill your water or grab your check.
I don’t hate it but won’t be back. The competition is too strong around here.

My husband and I ate here and got severe food poisoning. The food tasted good at first so don’t be deceived. It was the worst food poisoning of our life. The soy sauce containers were dirty at the bottom and we ordered food straight off of the conveyer belt. Almost immediately after we were sick. DO NOT GO HERE. Protect your health and loved ones, super disappointed (I never leave food reviews) trying to help you so you don’t get sick!!!!!!!

Me and my friend came on Labor Day. I recommend to make reservations.The restaurant is pretty small. Sashimi platter was so fresh! Server was extremely welcoming and friendly

The food is great, and I’m a frequent customer with no complaints about the service or quality. However, I recently noticed an issue with how tips are calculated. The bill is presented right in front of you, leaving little time to consider the tip amount. You’re asked to select a tip percentage on a machine that calculates tips based on the total amount, including tax. I believe tips should be calculated before tax, not after. Charging a tip on the tax amount seems misleading. The credit card machine can be customized by the owners, so if the intention is to include tax in the tip calculation, it feels deceptive. I’m happy to leave a tip for good service, but I don’t want to be misled about what I'm actually paying.

First time for us at lunch, food was delicious , sushi is the best fresh and best quality. We would love to have authentic tempura with light batter not heavy batter with regular bread crumbs. Will be back to try other dishes on our next visit. Thanks you?

Sushi Prince is excellent. We usually order the Chirashi or sashimi, and on our last visit, the salmon special recommended by the waitress was fantastic. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the service is warm. It’s a small spot, so be sure to make a reservation. I’ve also tried takeout, but like all sushi, it’s best enjoyed fresh on-site. Highly recommend.

This is the place I go to when I eat sushi. One of the best restaurants near my house has good taste and atmosphere. The restaurant isn't big so it's noisy, and I have to eat quickly and get up early to eat delicious sushi, but that's okay.
