I can swear the meat was not cooked properly and when I ate it I felt sick right away. And the garlic sauce spiked my throat. If you wanna get food poisoning, go to Taim. And the management is so bad as well! The portion size is not good enough for the price either. I don’t recommend going here. If you want to get food poisoning because of the meat, then go ahead.

This place when it first opened was all abuzz! It was Fairfax City Restaurant week, last week and wanted to give it a try. The restaurant week menu was two for $10, a pita sandwich or a bowl and fries with either. So I step up to the counter ask for the restaurant week menu and I'm told you get free fries with your order. I ordered a bowl with chicken shawarma, rice and hummus and veggies. Go to pay and the price is more than the posted price, I ask the counter person, why it says on the menu $10, he told me not for a bowl, I show him the menu and it says bowl, he ignored me and said this is the price. I still got it because of the good reviews. Well I wasn't impressed, very little chicken, loaded with hummus and it tasted is but off. I was very disappointed, was looking for another Mediterranean food place to go to.

Dined here for Restaurant Week. Not a great experience. The person at the counter insisted the RW offer was only free French fries. We showed him the RW website which clearly stated the $10 offer. He wouldn't honor it. We ordered anyway, bc we like to try new restaurants. The food was good. I had the cauliflower shwarma with couscous. Loved the dipping sauces. Especially the garlic, mango, and aioli sauces. The schwarma and couscous was full of turmeric. Kind of one-note. The fries were very soggy. Didn't eat them. Maybe we'll give them a second chance. Not sure.

Finally got the chance to visit the Fairfax location. Little put off when I ordered the meatballs and was told the menu was wrong. Available protein items limited when compared to Cava and the portions were a bit small. However, the food was very good and their special lemonade is fabulous. So add some lamb and other protein options and add a bit more of the other items to increase the serving size. Good start. How about a location closer to Centreville?
