Today is Inauguration Day for the President of the United States. We wanted to have lunch and watch the event at this establishment. The host said we can place you in the corner and put it on a TV there. The manager then walked over and said “we’re not showing it” and basically threw us out. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I highly suggest staying away from this anti-American establishment. It’s disgusting

This place was wonderful. I have never had salmon so good. The staff was attentive and friendly. Our waiter Timothy was very patient with all our questions. Great pub atmosphere! OH and the Drunken Pumpkin drink was YUM yummy!
Dietary restrictions: Great GF options. Marked on the menu for easy identification.
Parking: Slight walk to the parking garage but it was free and very close.

We had a wake for my Mom at the Auld Shebeen and it is difficult to imagine a more understanding, courteous, and helpful establishment. Wonderful food and great service. If the scale went above 5, I would leave a higher review. I am forever in their debt. A top quality establishment for events, a nice pub meal, or a casual pint. Easy parking in the garage that is quite close.

What more can one say? The prominent sign on the wall states: 'Cead Mile Failte' & the place boasts a great atmosphere (Live Traditional Irish Music on Weekends), great foods, great brews & a very excellent waitstaff.
The 4 of us seasoned & thirsty songwriters enjoyed the visit. Robbin was expecting thick-cut chips though (the only thing critiqued)?☝️ ☝️ I'm not huge on potatoes (imagine THAT...an Irish descendant who's not a potato?fan)???

Always a great experience. The food is excellent. I had the specials of crab bisque and the lamb meatloaf with mashed potatoes and snow peas and they were superb. Authentic Irish food and music. One of our favorite places to eat and enjoy the scene.
A very nice restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. Food was great and beers were nice and cold.

This is absolutely one of our favorite spots! We have been going here for over a decade and will continue to do so for as long as we are in the area. The food is delicious, cocktails are great and they have a great beer and whiskey selection. Service is always superb even when busy. The kitchen is careful with food intolerance handling my Celiac (Gluten-free) and my son's Dairy allergy with ease. A must try is the Potato soup and the Shepherds pie. An honorable mention for the Cottage pie and their burgers!

One of may very solid Irish Pubs in the DC area. Solid mashed potato heavy pub faves served fast with style by the young staff. Was there midday so hard to get full feeling of the atmosphere but still positive and fun.

Everything about this pub is perfect. The greeting is warm and kind. The food choices are as warm and as inviting as their staff. The flatbread was an amazing starter, the salad - so FRESH! We had the table near the fireplace near the bar! So cozy! Orange Cosmo is light and very smooth. The bar chips are really great and I had a turkey burger with no bun! So good!
Fish and chips are also light and very fresh! Definitely stop in! ♥️♥️♥️
