Sandwiches here are not cheap, but you DO get what you pay for. Everything tastes so fresh and flavorful. Bread is fresh-baked, soft and delicious. The meats are sliced thin and sandwiches get heaping portions of them. Even the freakin' lettuce tastes fresh!
The store itself is clean, the staff is friendly and hard-working, they even have an interesting selection of drinks both hard and soft.

My favorite sandwich shop in Fairfax and possibly northern VA (not including cheesesteaks) They load up the sandwich with meat and perfectly complement with veggies. The bread is always fresh. Definitely not the cheapest place but you get your moneys worth. For hungry folks only! Great locally owned, small shop. Hope they stick around for a while.

The subs are classic, perfectly portioned, and incredibly customizable. The owner’s customer service really holds things down—he’s personable, fast, and remembers just about every customer. He had my order memorized after two visits! I work in the plaza and make a point of going there on every lunch break. I’ve never gotten tired of it. Super reliable.

Love this place! Can't go wrong with a shop that serves first responders (why I tried the Deli in the first place). And the Mad Italian sub is crazy good. Wish they were open on Sundays, as that would enhance football season.

My son and I had been eyeing this place for months. We both kept saying let's go let's go, the day before he went in and they had ran outta bread, neither him or I could understand that until we both figured out that hey everything is fresh. So cut to tomorrow he went early once he got off . Brought his self a sandwich and me when I got home I was greeted with a sandwich that was as big as my forearm. Everything about the sandwich was on point and good fresh and tasty. Eating the entire sandwich at one time would do it no justice so I saved some for work the next day and it's still as good as yesterday. When you discover a hidden gem people tend to keep it to themselves I definitely want the world to know. You wanna come here
When I ponder the highlights of The Deli, it is hard to decide. Is it the fantastic subs on fresh bread? The kind staff? The nostalgia of dining in a family-owned business that was a part of my childhood? Is it the fact that the owner used to cut my subs into thirds so I could share with Mom and Dad, then he switched to cutting them in half after Dad died without me having to ask? It is ALL of these things and more.
Charity Meals
Had an amazing turkey and ham sub and my son had the meatball and cheese. Everything was so good, including our dessert. When my son ordered his slice of cake, they went and got some extra slices out of the back so he could get one with extra frosting. So thrilled with the food and service. Will definitely be back soon.
