Love True Food Kitchen!!! Plentiful food options, everything was delicious and the service was friendly, responsive and attentive. Great outside seating on a perfect night!
Our server was amazing Food was good but the soup was a bit sweeter than expected. The host seated us in some where spot that no guest wants, seems like it. We asked to be re-seated. Still my one of my favourite places to dine in VA
The table a few feet away had a massive ceiling light fall on the people next to us Scared the hell out of my guest and through off the meal completely We were constantly staring at the one directly above us
Excellent food fresh and delivered in a timely manner. Love the roasted Brussels sprouts and the GF burger excellent value, taste and flavor
Table we weee brought to wasn't clean and then was left very wet. We moved ourselves to a better one.
I wish there were more obvious vegan options here but there are enough for me. For kids, we were able to get pasta with marinara and a vegan cheese pizza (they used the vegan burger cheese but my kid didn’t care). Overall we were happy and I’d come back.
I love true food kitchen there are food are so yummy and delicious l like everything about them and they no how to attend to customers.
One of my go-to date night or family dinner spots, especially when I'm craving something fresh and healthy. I love their seasonal menus, drink selection (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic!), vegetarian options, and especially their salads. Oh, I also order the hummus every time. It's my all-time favorite hummus, hands down. The staff here goes above and beyond, too.

Just walked out because we waited more than 10 minutes and no waiter ever came to at least acknowledge us or take our drink orders. Unfortunate because I love their food but every other table was being acknowledged and followed up on except for us. ALSO, we came here a couple weeks ago to order a CHICKEN teriyaki bowl and when we got home the bowl had only mushrooms. I didn’t call to complain because i still ate it and figured it was just a human error that we all commit once in a while but with this 2nd incident I think it’s safe to say to avoid this location.

I frequently visit this establishment, but my recent experience was terrible. I ordered my usual hummus, but the pita bread was hard and inedible. The butternut squash soup was overly salty, and there were no utensils included. I would expect better quality of food from True Foods, especially given the price I paid.

We’re new to the area and we’re excited to try this place out. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t come here again. We came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t too busy (plenty of tables open around us and outside). People seated after us were served and accommodated before us. We waited a while to even be acknowledged by our server who seemed to be in a bad mood (maybe it was a bad day, I get it). I ordered the Tuna Poke bowl which I normally love tuna but it was the fishiest tasting tuna I’ve had and the sauce that came with it was sour. Unfortunately the let down of the food paired with bad service makes it so that we won’t be back.

Ok to dine in, well appointed restaurant in great location, but food and service could be improved. The hostesses were so friendly and welcoming, but after that it kind of went downhill. It was busy at lunch, but not really inundated. We didn't get any welcome at the table, and waited a while for someone to pass a few times before they could take our drink order. For the food, some of the entree portions were small, the noodle bowl was very soup-like and had little taste, and the pancakes were a bit dry. However, the bison sausage pizza was very good. We never received our water refills, and there was only acknowledgement when it was time to pay the bill. We're not sure if it is worth the price for this food and service. It was our first visit and likely quite a while if we decide to return. There is a lot of potential for this place, but there are so many other better options for this price range.
Overall a good meal. The food and drinks were all good; the service was good, but could have been more attentive. The teriyaki bowl was very yummy and full of good veggies - I'd happily eat here again!
