Uncle Julio's Fairfax

Great service. We went there on a Saturday with 12 family members to celebrate 2 birthdays after the original restaurant screw my reservation Uncle Julio's was quick to set up a table for all of us. Our waiter was Brandon. Very professional and friendly he was able to accommodate 2 of my guess special diet. The food was great and even the manager approached our table to make sure we were doing okay I will definitely recommend this restaurant and if you happen to be served by Brandon you are in good hands

As someone who loves Mexican cuisine, Uncle Julio's is among my favorites. It's a chain restaurant that I really like. The atmosphere is wonderful, the food is wonderful and the presentations are wonderful.

I have been here a few time and I quite enjoy it. The service is good, the food is amazing, the theming and decor are interesting and the whole place radiates pure nostalgia to me. I have plenty of fun memories at this restaurant ranging from getting dinner after seeing a movie to doing the math with my girlfriend to try and figure out exactly when the anniversary of when we first met was. This is a great location in a kinda underrated chain. I wholeheartedly recommend.

The food was average, but the service was awful. The waitress was rude, it seemed like her shift was almost over, and she had no patience. She even forgot to bring our coffees at the end. Despite my husband wanting to adhere to the good tip policy, we felt underserved. We're sorry Uncle Julio, but we won't be returning to the Fairfax location.

We had a very enjoyable, early dinner at Uncle Julio’s’s. We went between lunch and dinner, and it was nice because it wasn’t too noisy inside. The food is always good! And, of course, we love the chips and salsa.

Had a work happy hour here, didn't sample much but from what I tasted, would not recommend Uncle Julio. The drinks were fine/good but I'm not a frequent drinker so I can't really say.
However as a fan of Mexican, this place really doesn't have good Mexican or texmex. Chips were bland. Sauces for dips were bland. Guacamole had big weird chunks. I had the half quesadilla and they were pretty meh, not great cheese. Mostly everything in general was too salty and flavour profile is poor.

Food quality went down the hill, restaurant empty on a Friday night and it all makes sense now. The new management needs to hire a better chef. The fajitas tasted average and chicken enchiladas is just terrible. Sadly, we will not be returning again, Guapos in Fairfax is way better.

First time, went on Taco Tuesday, and it was amazing. Our server was so nice and thoughtful. The food was fresh and hot when it came out.

Went in for an early dinner and got the shrimp and crab enchiladas along with the barbacoa fajitas, which were fantastic! The margaritas are also good, though I wish they came in the more traditional glass.

I've been coming to uncle julio's for years, probably my safe spit if I'm hungry and know the food will be good, it has never disappointed, the fajitas are fantastic, the tortillas are always fresh and the service is always prompt and pleasant. I will always have uncle julios in my top 10 for sure.
