Avoid stopping by early in the morning before work. Store opens, bakery department not ready. During the week the store opens at 6:00 am. What's the point of opening a store if you don't have the products people want to buy out on the shelves? On Tuesday I stopped by at 6:30 am (30 minutes after they open) to get doughnuts for the office. Nope, no doughnuts out. Wednesday morning I try again. No doughnuts. No pastries. No bagels. And you could see someone was just starting to put out the speciality breads at one end of the bakery area. It seems that "opening time" is when employees clock in and start preparing the store for customers! Will no longer consider Wegman's in Fairfax as an option.

Wegmans bakery employees - So Rude. Called to clarify some questions and the person on the phone was extremely rude. I guess they make enough money and don't care if you just want a small cake.

Good location, but selection of food isn't that great. Good customer service though. I would return for flowers or groceries, but probably not prepared food.

Five starts for the bakery. It's the best bread and bagels and cream cheese at any grocery store. Stay away from the produce. It's just gross. Moldy, dry corn, moldy Lemons. Limes so old no juice can be squeezed out. So many times I've brought onions home and cut them in half and it's rotten. Even the organic veg is half rotten most the time. Corn on the cob, is dried and rotten. Zucchini is soft and rotten. Peppers with rotten soft spots. For the rest of the store, you can find what you want if you have an hour to spend searching for it. From now on I'll go to the bakery and then leave if I go at all.

If you want sushi, sashimi, and Chinese fried rice or noodles, and are hungry and in a hurry--look no further. This place has it all. One could easily spend a $100 on a meal and feed a family royally here. The sushi and sashimi quality are amazing. The vegetarian pizza was gourmet with diverse vegetables so I ordered two. The fountain drinks come from a new fountain dispenser. I recommend all of the prepared foods here as tasty and fresh.

Since 2008, I've been buying my groceries from this Wegmans location. I know where everything is. The staff is always very nice. The food they make here is good as well. This location maintained a very well stocked store during the pandemic. You need to come here for your grocery shopping.

I definitely need to visit this location earlier in the day since a lot of stuff was already sold out by the time I went. It's nice and spacious and all the employees were friendly.

Prices are high and crowds can be rough, especially given a lot of Wegmans' patrons are completely oblivious to others, but you can't really blame them for their aggravating clientele (please don't park your cart sideways in the aisle as you peruse the salad dressing options for five minutes). Still if you want quality groceries, beer and wine, and ready made food to grab for lunch or dinner, it's a darn sight better than Walmart.

Danny Wegmans retirement plan: price gouging your loyal customers. Shopping in this place is like going into a cave. It's a damn shame as it used to be a great supermarket. Thanks for the 15 minute wait checking out Danny.

Wegmans is my favorite grocery store, so I will try to keep this short. Basically you can come here for all your needs (food, household items, random items, balloons, friendly smiles). The bakery section is ah-mazing: from classics like round cakes and cupcakes to more fancier selections like mini cake treats in edible chocolate cups. You're probably thinking "it's just a grocery store", and you would be 100% incorrect. Wegmans is an experience, enjoyed by all ages. Grab some coffee from the coffee bar, do your shopping, then grab a freshly made salad or pizza slice on your way out. One of the coolest things for me is seeing what new seasonal or local items they have in stock. Oftentimes it's the fruit that grabs me (the fresh produce hits you as soon as you enter). Since Wegmans are not currently offered in most states, our visitors always seem to fall in love with Wegmans. I think it's the lights and openness of the store. It literally grabs you and will keep you hostage for hours (if you allow). Pricing can be a little elevated which mimics the pricing of most items these days. They offer grocery drive-up services if you prefer to shop online or on their app. Cakes can be custom made with advance notice. The florist section is great too if you're in need or want of fresh flowers. The cheese selections are wonderful for party planning (or just eating fi you're like me). If you have little ones, stop by the customer care counter and grab a sticker for them!

We went to get the sushi at this place couple times and my five year old son loves the shrimp tempura rolls so much. Last night my husband went to get sushi around 7-8 pm the sushi looks like it's been sitting there all day. The rice is getting dry and cold but we still eat it. After my son finished his shrimp tempura rolls for an hour he started throwing up everywhere and it's all sushi that he ate. Around 4 am in the morning he woke up and threw up again. I can tell that it's the food poison. I leave the review here because I wish the store be aware about the quality of the food. We love the store and the food but if some food sitting in the store all day long and doesn't look good quality, the manager and the staffs should check around and more careful about this. Good thing my son is better in the morning today but I hope this massage is reached out to someone in charge.

For only the second time ever, I had a bad experience at Wegmans in Fairfax. I had selected a box of cherry tomatoes and decided I wanted a smaller container. The smaller one was grape tomatoes. A man was unloading tomatoes so I asked him what was the difference. He handed me some other container of tomatoes. After being polite and asking him again, he handed me yet another container. When it became apparent he didn't speak even a little English, I thanked him and moved on. He proceeded to follow me and hand me containers of tomatoes. When I got frustrated at this, he acted like I'd offended HIM. I then went to get seafood, and every question I asked the employee behind the counter, he had to get his manager (who insensed was annoyed at this employee). Again, it was a language barrier. At a place like Wegmans, I've come to expect knowledgeable and helpful employees. Coincidentally, the only other time I had problems was ordering a cake, and again, it was a language barrier. I thought that was a one-off. I understand it's hard to find employees these days, but there should be some kind of requirement that employees who need to interact with customers can do so.

The only good thing about this place is the young man that stopped what he was doing with the carts and came over to help me get my groceries in the car. This nice young man and I had a delightful conversation. How pleasant. Made my day! I believe his name was Jacko. Otherwise, the place is always busy with people out for themselves. The pharmacy is a nightmare. They forget about your prescription even if you're right in front of them. People and workers are too snobby and don't care about the customers. I'll go back to Giant, where the staff is friendly and food not overpriced. It's worth the extra drive. Jack gets five stars though

Wegmans did a fabulous job on my baby yoda cupcakes! They were cute and delicious! It definitely made my birthday celebration fun and memorable.
