This location is it!! The other locations don’t compare in terms of service and quality of food. Everything tastes fresh and so flavorful!

I tried the Herndon and McLean location. Every time I go, it just misses something compared to here.

Customer service is simple and straight forward. They’re always looking out at the tables in case anyone needs anything and they’re fast!

Recommended dishes: Sichuan beef noodle soup, hot and sour beef brisket golden soup, cucumber salad w/garlic, fried pork chop with minced pork and fried egg over rice, black vinegar cold noodles, and pork/peppercorn soup dumplings

I LOVE THIS PLACE! This is my all time favorite restaurant. I’ve been coming for the past 5 years and my friend group comes about every week or every other week to eat and catch up. The food is very affordable and very filling which is more than appreciated when I was in college. My friends and I joke that we should have affiliate codes because every person we bring eventually brings others and etc. The owner, Lisa, has seen us through finals, breakups, and everything in between, she always makes sure we are welcome and leave with our belly’s full and even leftovers. She’s always as happy to see us as we are happy to see her. I don’t think I would’ve gotten my degree without this place.

Yu’s Noodles is one of those rare places that manages to be both exceptional and effortlessly comforting—a restaurant that doesn’t just serve meals, but quietly anchors itself into your family’s routine.
From the moment you walk in, the vibe is just right: warm, welcoming, and pleasantly unpretentious. One of the most telling details is the staff retention. We see the same familiar faces visit after visit, which speaks volumes about how well this place is run. The customer service is consistently excellent—attentive without hovering, friendly without feeling forced, and genuinely invested in making sure your experience is a good one. Even the water refilling is on point, that small but deeply appreciated detail that signals you’re in capable hands.
And then there’s the food. The soup dumplings deserve to be described as nothing short of life-changing. These are dumplings that recalibrate your expectations, the kind that make you pause mid-bite and immediately start planning your next visit. Somehow, the menu manages the near-impossible feat of offering dishes that the entire family loves, which alone earns its place in our personal hall of fame.
The bao are so soft, flavorful, and comforting that we’ve officially dubbed them “joy pillows.” Once you’ve had them, the name makes perfect sense. They’re the kind of food that brings instant happiness and long-lasting cravings.
All of this adds up to why Yu’s Noodles has become our go-to family dinner spot—the place we choose when we want guaranteed satisfaction, great service, and an atmosphere that makes everyone feel at home. Five stars, wholeheartedly and repeatedly.

The dim sum options are great for children. I recommend getting edamame and letting them choose soup dumplings from the pictures on the menu.

Broths flavors were ok. Soup dumplings weren't very soupy. Refused to give us a sharing bowls. They stated that the larger bowls are kitchen bowls. Overall, subpar.

Their food was excellent, I have been eating here for sometime now, but i do not trust the morality and fairness of an institution that increases the price of items little by little from $18 to $23 in 7 months!

I love Yu Noodles. Their noodle bowls are so good — simple, flavorful, and the portions are huge. Last time I got the seafood noodle bowl and it totally hit the spot. Everything tasted fresh and comforting.

It’s a clean, casual place — not fancy or romantic, but definitely the kind of spot you go to when you just want a really good meal without paying too much. The staff are super friendly, and the service is always quick.

The menu can be a little confusing at first, but they have some pictures to help, and honestly, everything I’ve tried has been delicious. It’s just one of those reliable, yummy places you keep coming back to. I usually end up going there when I get a massage at the place next-door (Relax rite), I just make an authentic Chinese evening out of the whole experience.

I ordered a spicy beef vermicelli soup with pickled vegetables, and I found a piece of steel wire in my food. I politely informed the server about it, but when it came time to pay, they didn’t offer any discount or apology — instead, the server argued back with me and had a terrible attitude.
On top of that, when I asked for a plastic take-out container, they refused to give me one.
Honestly, this was a very disappointing experience. Finding something like steel wire in food is a serious safety issue, and the way the staff handled it was completely unprofessional.
