This place was a road stop. Talk about a hidden gem. Steak and cheese was probably in the top 3 I have ever had. That's a great rating for me. The bread was phenomenal. My wife loved her Italian sub, and the pizza got a thumbs up from the kids. It's worth the 2 or 3 min drive off the highway.

We were driving through the area and stopped to get something to eat. We were pleasantly surprised with the food. It was good for a quick stop and definitely filling! Nice people.

I work out of town every week, and I have pasted the sign in 81 several times. I finally stopped. As soon as I walked in, the ladies looked at me like a deer in headlights. I looked around as they stared, and I had to ask, "Do I just sit myself? You're what?" After seating myself, the girl was quick with a menu and took my order. Got my drink. After getting the pizza, I ate, and another lady who was cleaning a table walked by and asked if I was good. I said I was. I finished my drink and waited, but nobody came and asked if my empty cup needed refilled. The lady that asked came to me with a box. I had only eaten 2 pieces of pizza. I felt rushed. She put the box on the bench seat and went to walk away and I had to ask her for another drink. She brought it to me. The first woman never came and asked anything after taking my order. The 3 females just stood up there talking. I was very disappointed with the service. The place wasn't busy at all. I tip good. Waitresses only make $2 something an hour. They depend on tips. But I don't like paying for a service I don't get. The state and federal takes to much out of my hard earned check as it is. I only left $2. I didn't want to leave anything. I did like the pizza. But driving almost 4 hours to a hotel close to work and being disrespected, in my opinion, without proper service makes me really question if I want to go back.

Friendly folks, good food and fair prices. For this place to be so close to my location definitely adds to my review of course, but I'm not biased, so with that being said, honestly it probably would have been 4 stars if I were to have to travel a considerable amount of time to eat there. But thankfully I don't, 7 minutes from my house to get good, fresh, hot food definitely is a thing of beauty being that I live in a rather re.ote area. The restaurant itself sits on top a hill with beautiful mountain views. They have a main dining area and a sun room dining area. Both have been exceptionally clean every time I've visited, as well, I've always been greeted with a friendly welcome. I've been stopping in from time to time for cheese steaks, salads, pizzas, pasta or fried oysters for years and as long as they continue to operate I can't see that changing. If ever in BFE VA stop in and give em a try.Parking: In a complex that's attached to a salon/barber shop. Also has a car wash, huge parking lot with plenty of spacesKid-friendliness: I have a 5 year old but have taken my kid there since she could chew food. The service is friendly to all so that applies to children.Wheelchair accessibility: Should have zero issues accessing the restaurant with a chair. The parking lot is level with the sidewalk and is wide open so definitely no issues I could imagine.

The food is ok provided they get your order right.....they constantly screw up your order.....I frequent the restaurant but I think they have lost my business......I'm tired of getting something I didn't order.......future customers beware

Great food and prices! We stopped here for my birthday lunch on a family trip for the holiday. We were the only customers for most of our meal. We have 3 children who were well-behaved but acted as children often do -- one played with the nutcracker Christmas decor and was told that it’s not a toy. (She immediately stopped playing with it) another entered the adjoining dining area which held no other customers and the waitress curtly informed us that he needs to stay out. We immediately called him in. She walked away shaking her head as though we were the ones being rude. ??♀️I’m sorry to say that my husband tipped her poorly. I know two wrongs don’t make a right.I would definitely come here again, and hope for a different waitress or that she is having a better day.

Stopped in on our road trip! Everything we had was delicious!! Being from NY I told my husband this tastes like NY Pizza!!! The buffalo chicken sandwich was chefs kiss!! Husband got the pizza cheesesteak and said it was good too. Maybe we will stop in on our way home too!!
I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw and tasted Franks pizza. I could tell right away the crust was going to be good.I ordered a cheese pizza, light cheese and well done. IMHO there was still a bit too much cheese and it could have used another minute or 2 in the oven. But, it wasn't greasy, had great undercarriage and tasted great.

I love Frank's! I've been going to Frank's in Lexington and Fairfield all my life and love the small town pizza place.Dietary restrictions: I'm lactose intolerant but still love pizza, so I get a "lactose free" pizza (aka... a supreme pizza without cheese) and love it!

We stopped here while our car was being serviced after breaking down and gotta say these folks were very gracious hosts for the whole 3 hours we were camped out and served us some excellent sandwiches! Meatball hero is legit.
