Today we were going to celebrate our son’s 7th Birthday. We placed an order via Uber Eats for Bakeshop, Falls Church, VA on Tuesday, April 6th 2024 for our kiddos birthday party. As excited as we were for the big day, imagine three hours before the party you get the following “cancellation message.” No other contact or anything. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!! With everything we had going on to get ready for a 7 year olds birthday party, imagine getting a notice three hours prior that the only pastries being served “cupcakes” was not happening. Nobody called us from Bakeshop or anywhere else. While my blame should be at the feet of @UberEats I feel that Bakeshop also shares in the blame. I’m not sure what their cupcakes or cakes may taste like, but I know that their service SUCKS! I wouldn’t use them for anything, EVER!

The hot chocolates are horrible and taste like coffee. But the service was good and the desserts are tasty.
It’s always busy and I can see why. Their baked goods are reeaaaally good! We got doggy treats (which my dog loved), the original loaf, banana loaf, and the Irish cream pie. Everything tasted great!

Finally stopped in one Sunday afternoon. Thoroughly enjoyed my treat! I tried the Vietnamese coffee cake slice. It was moist and fluffy with great flavor. Kids had the vegan brookie and a cupcake and loved them. Now I'm wondering if they do birthday cakes. Will be back for more.

Ordered a cake for my wife’s birthday. That process was fairly smooth and the person taking my order over the phone was fine, but after making payment she asked if I want to leave tip.I’m so sick of tip culture. Why am I being asked for a tip before they make the cake? If I say no will they make it poorly? Why are you asking for a tip for a $55 pick up cake order?I don't blame the employee, but I won't be buying from here again.
