I worked at yelp for 10 years and have visited so many restaurants as part of my work. Me and my co-worker recently dined at this Ethiopian place and it was a truly fantastic experience. The atmosphere was so inviting, and the food was incredible. Our waiter, Hamen, was a standout; her smile and eloquent explanations of the dishes added a special touch to our meal. She served us with passion and showed no signs of tiredness despite the extremely busy situation. This is an experience you barely find in many restaurants. Birndo is a must-visit. I can't wait to return! I will pass this same review for yelp.

I recently dined at Birndo Restaurant and Bar, and I must say, it was a culinary experience unlike any other! As a fan of Ethiopian cuisine, I was particularly excited to try their TIRE SIGA (ጥሬ ስጋ) kitfo, and it did not disappoint.

The raw meat (ጥሬ ስጋ) was incredibly fresh and expertly seasoned. The blend of spices used was perfect, enhancing the natural flavors without overwhelming them. Each bite of the Raw meat was tender and melt-in-your-mouth good. I loved the contrast of the rich, buttery texture of the meat paired with the spiced butter (ayib) that accompanied the dish, adding a delightful creaminess.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed for an enjoyable dining experience.

I also appreciated the traditional Ethiopian injera served alongside the all Ethiopian dishes, which was perfect for scooping up every bit of meat. It complemented the dish beautifully and added an authentic touch to the meal.

Overall, Birndo Restaurant and Bar is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in authentic Ethiopian cuisine, especially if you're a fan of raw meat dishes. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu!

Terrible experience. We were told there'd be a 15-minute wait, but ended up waiting over an hour while watching them give priority to others. The staff was unprofessional, and the service showed clear favoritism. The food was overrated, and we're never going back. One star.
