Such a unique coffee spot! We go several times a month on weekends for their cappuccinos and breakfast. The vibe of this place is unmatched. Perfect casual breakfast spot
Walking into this cozy cafe for the first time felt like finding a new home. Friendly staff took our order at the counter and brought everything to our table. We ordered a couple lattes, a blueberry parfait and French toast. Our lattes were perfect, and the blueberry parfait was delicious. A place as exceptional as this should use real maple syrup, which is my only critique. The slices of French toast were light and fluffy and the bacon was nice and crispy. I can’t wait to return and try more of the menu!
I used to come here and always enjoyed the food and a resentation. It was really well made and special. But not lately. The food was terrible. I ordered avocado toast with poached eggs. The avocado was not fresh, started to darken here and there. The dish was poorly presented, the poached eggs were raw outside and hardbolied inside. That and a cup of tea (tea bag) was $20. I couldn't eat it. They offered something else instead, but I didn't want anything else. They refused to give a refund, told me this is way they cook their food, and that's how its going to be. Yikes. Not coming back. What a shame, I used to love this place.
Delicious food with very friendly staff in a charming and casual environment that welcomes families
Great coffee and tea drinks, great breakfast sandwiches and pastries.
We love this place! Usually we go about once a month and together when family visits, and it is always a hit! Today, there was a mix-up with our order and although we were originally feeling very bummed that the place was close to closing and our food never arrived, the staff was extremely kind and fixed the issue immediately. No one is perfect, but the kindness and positive attitudes of everyone really made our day considering. We are very grateful at how customer focused this place is! Plus the great food and drinks. As always, we look forward to the next visit. The staff member with beautiful, super-blonde hair was especially helpful!
10/10. I love everything about this place. One of the top coffee spots in the area. Friendly and kind people.
Cafe Kindred in Falls Church is an absolute gem! This small, cozy spot offers fantastic customer service, with fast, friendly staff who make you feel right at home. It's a perfect spot for families, but also great for solo diners with a bar area.
Although it has a bakery vibe, the breakfast options are abundant and delicious. I ordered the American breakfast with potatoes, croissant, eggs, and sausage, and it was incredibly fulfilling—such a satisfying meal for a very reasonable price. My boyfriend had the pancakes, bacon, and eggs, and he couldn’t stop raving about it. The pancakes were perfectly fluffy and sweet, the bacon crispy, and the eggs cooked just right. Even the cappuccino was a treat—cute presentation, and we added simple syrup to sweeten it to our liking.
We spent a total of $44, and every dollar was well worth it. The quality, flavor, and portion sizes left us more than satisfied. Being just around the corner from our gym, we’ll definitely be returning and recommending this spot to everyone we know!

I took my family up from NC to see the DC sites this week and so each morning we looked for different breakfast joints. This place was fantastic. I don't write a lot of reviews, but when something is extremely good (or poor), I feel compelled to share. The staff and servers are all smiles, the food prep is quick, and the food, no matter the dish, is complex (taste wise) and satisfying. My daughter can be picky, but not here. Oh, and then there is the espresso. I know people say the europenans are the best at this, but these folks are true masters of the craft. You and your kids will not be disappointed. In fact, we went a second time because despite wanting to explore the areas eateries, I was out voted :)

Cute anglophilic vibe on the border of Arlington and Falls Church. Great place for European-style fare and a nice latte. Love the seasonal drink selection.

My wife and I ate here today for the first time. Everything, from the ambiance to the biscuits and gravy to the flavoured latte, was amazing! 10/10 would do again.

Very nice tasty breakfast. We had Avocado toast with scrambled eggs. It was made to perfection. Super yummy. Tried their blueberry pancakes. They served three pancakes. The top one was super yummy but the bottom two were not as moist but still very tasty. They could be a little more generous with their butter and maple syrup. Their cashier come waitress Julie was so pleasant and served with a perpetual smile on her face. I will definitely go back.
