The owner was very helpful and gave wonderful customer service. He also gave feedback on what I was ordering. He also gave me several home made sauces that were delicious. All of the dishes I got were extremely delicious to my tastebuds. Thank you!

Service, food, and outdoor patio, coupled with great weather. This made for the perfect lunch stop while exploring town on my bicycle.I got the pork vermicelli platter. It was evident that all ingredients were fresh, including the pork. The pork was amazing. It had the perfect crispy skin that only crisps up properly when it has never been frozen. The accompanying chili sauce was made on site of fresh ingredients as well. The serving size is generous and price reasonable. I could have gotten two meals from the serving size. All together with a beer, i couldn't have asked for a better meal at the $20 range. The owner met me at the entryway. He saw my bicycle told me I was welcome to bring it in or lock it up to his patio railing. He answered any questions I had. He and his staff struck a good balance between welcoming and smothering.

Fantastic selection and preparation of fresh seafood and shellfish. We stopped in a month ago and chatted with the owner while enjoying oysters and shrimp tempura.

Don’t order crabs from here..they aren’t fresh and they cheat you. None of the 2 dozen crabs we purchase had both claws (photo of a few crabs below..they also are unseasoned) and they weren’t included in the bag either. They said it was $50 for a dozen over the phone, but then when we went to buy them it was $60 for a dozen of the same size.

This sugarcane juice costs $10 and it tastes MOLDY. Later when I was trying to check it thoroughly I found a dead fruit fly in it??! ??? Worrisome hygiene conditions.

We got the roasted pork, it tasted fresh and juicy, and the skin was very crunchy. The owner was very friendly and accommodating.

Wish I discovered this sooner to try more dishes like snails and seafood. We tried BBQ pork banh mi, sugar cane juice, vietnamese yogurt with glutinous rice, banh bao. Sugar cane juice was super tasty but can be a bit pricey ($8).Overall, food tasted great and fast customer service. I'm glad they have a machine to take credit cards. The owner was super friendly. Heard that they're looking to renovate their restaurant soon to provide a better seating atmosphere for their customers.Definitely will be back if I'm ever in this area.

This restaurant is in the Eden Center, a local Northern Virginia hub for Vietnamese businesses and restaurants. We hadn't been to the Eden Center for years, and we were shocked to find that most restaurants seemed to close at 8 pm. And on a Saturday night! Captain Saigon is open all day and late into the night. We ended up here by default, and that turned out to be a good thing. It's a small place, but the owner/waiter was friendly and accommodating. The food was quite good. We had three fine dishes, with the roasted quail being the best. Prices are quite reasonable. We are already planning a return visit.
