Caribbean Plate was curated out of owner Rod O'Savio, who previously ran the well-known Muffin Man Caribbean Cafe for 18 years, and his sandwich shop in Baltimore for 5 years. Caribbean Plate was then born in 2015 and is now the finest Jamaican restaurant in the DMV area. I was so excited to visit this place to have their jerk wings and goat curry served with two sides. Always had best experience with the food.came to know that they are open on Mondays too.

I cannot believe it’s taken us so long to try this place. This is hands down the best goat curry and oxtail I’ve ever had…and I’m Indian... They were the most tender and flavorful meats. Please treat yourself to this wonderful restaurant!
