I rarely leave negative reviews, but this visit was incredibly frustrating. When we arrived, no one was at the front desk to greet us, and we had to wait around awkwardly for someone to even acknowledge us. Once seated, it took about 10 minutes just to receive menus, with no apology or explanation.
The food itself was okay – nothing special, but edible. However, the service completely ruined the experience. Long wait times between ordering, receiving food, and even getting the check made the entire meal feel unnecessarily drawn out.
To make matters worse, a 15% tip was automatically added to the bill, despite the poor service, and they also charged extra for containers and a bag when we asked to take leftovers home. That felt like nickel-and-diming on top of an already disappointing visit.
I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place if you value decent service.

Both take out and dine in are good, but if you come here, always get the pastels or Humitas. They are super good, and fresh. The wait time is a little long if you're getting these two, but its worth it. Also, they sell bread on the weekends I think. Thats also really good. If you do come here for dine in, its really small with only about four tables.

Food is good, but we saw mice the 3 times we went to this restaurant, we found dead roaches in their plastic cups.
Food is too expensive here and when they make a mistake they just get upset… not worth the trip.
The health department should visit them.

The food is good.
The carry out service is terrible. They don't have the food ready when it's supposed to be.

Best anticuchos in the dmv!! It’s a VERYYY tiny place with maybe only 4 tables insides so definitely get take out. A little pricey also but for the quality of the anticucho I’m willing to spend. I haven’t tried any other dish yet but will be coming back for more.

I used to love coming here back in the day. Now inflation is real and prices plummeted and I can’t even enjoy a Kawi without paying $18.15 for with tax almost $20 it’s wild. The service wasn’t great I called to pick up soup and they told me 10 minutes I got there and had to wait an additional 10 minutes and the people at the counter desk were not welcoming. It’s definitely not like it used to be. Now be ready to pay $20 for a medium soup. They have a sign that now says they charge $.050 cents for sauce ahi de mani and other sauces I was like what? Inflation is real in this place. I went to another Bolivian restaurant and got a different experience and prices so do yourself a favor and go where the prices are still reasonable. Bolivian restaurant here in Springfield is still selling Kawi for $14 not $18. Back in the day the container for soup here at Cristina’s was a big one and now I was surprised they found a container that was smaller for to go orders.

It is the Bolivian restaurant with the best flavor in Virginia, simply delicious from the api, tojori, puchero, the place is very small for the number of customers they have, I drove 7 hours to enjoy their food and I would do it again ❤️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️It is the Bolivian restaurant with the best flavor in Virginia, simply delicious from the api, tojori, puchero, the place is very small for the number of customers they have, I drove 7 hours to enjoy their food and I would do it again❤️
