Not only is the food (and the cider!) amazing, but the staff were extremely welcoming after we had a little car trouble in their parking lot. This will be a favorite of ours and I highly recommend them for a classic tavern food and raw bar experience!

Really bad experience tonight. A group of us did call-ahead reservations, and when we got there, the rude hostess claimed that we agreed to sit outside in 25 degree temperatures. That wasn’t true. We aren’t idiots. When we said we would find someplace else to eat, she said, “You should know what you want next time.” I explained that we did know what we wanted. We wanted a table for four INSIDE on a 25 degree night. She basically told me to show myself out. What a rude person. She should be fired. We won’t be going back. They probably don’t care, which is fine. But I care where I spend my money. I’ve spent a lot of it there in the past. That’s not going to happen anymore.

The Dogwood is THE Falls Church pub. I feel like I'm home when I go there. The food is good, way better than the above-average pub. Always a good choice of beers. Servers are locals and they stick around. Go there a few Sundays in a row, and they will know who you are, what game you want to watch, and what beer and food (Buffalo Wings!!!) you will order. When it's sunny and warm, the roof is the place to go. I loves my Dogood!

I wouldn’t get mixed drinks here. We got two rounds and they were watery and had little to no alcohol. My girlfriend ordered a vodka cranberry which was straight cranberry juice. Disappointing experience.
