We loved our meal at Ellie Bird! The salmon was cooked absolutely perfectly, and we loved that there were delicious non-alcoholic drink options. The staff was very attentive and our meal was paced well. We’ll be back again!

Ellie Bird has been on our list to try since they opened. Like their sister restaurant Rooster & Owl, the menu is both refined and rustic, with an emphasis on small plates great for sharing. We went for dinner and ordered the bread basket, spring green salad, Vietnamese french onion soup, salted cod rangoons, pomelo larb, braised lamb shank and chocolate cake. The pineapple buns are a carry over from Rooster & Owl that I’d happily eat with every meal. The Vietnamese french soup is aptly named, a wonderful combination of richly aromatic braised oxtail broth reminiscent of a fabulous pho with the oniony, cheesy, crouton goodness of a classic french onion. The rangoons are a perfect execution of an American Thai staple and the pomelo larb burst with flavor. The lamb shank, expertly cooked and glazed, was easily split between the two of us and sat on a bed of herbaceous tabouleh.A delay in getting us to our seats at the chefs counter resulted in several comped plates throughout the meal and we were very grateful for the above and beyond. The asparagus and pine berry salad added to our starter course was a true delight, who knew they were such a good pair!I’ll be interested to see how the restaurant continues to evolve. While Rooster & Owl remains our go-to for special occasions, we will absolutely come back to Ellie Bird with friends and family in tow and certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal.

Food was good, but service was very rushed. In and out in less than an hour and 20 minutes for our party of 5. Did they want our table for another reservation? Hostess brought final bill and said "I'll take this at your earliest convenience." Then she hovered in the corner almost staring at us to pay the bill. Quite odd for such a refined establishment. I think we should at least be able to spend 2 hours at dinner. All the food came out too quickly. Very rushed experience. Oh and we had one celebrating a birthday, but Ellie Bird does not comp you a dessert. This is not an inexpensive restaurant, please slow down and let your diner's enjoy the meal.

Food and drinks were excellent- we loved everything we tried! Service felt extremely rushed. We had a 6:30 pm reservation on a Saturday night and were done with drinks, apps, and dinner by 7:10. We were told we needed to put our entire order in at once as opposed to staggering it. The app arrived before we even got our drinks. Five minutes later, the entrees were out. We understand the need to turn over tables, but this was just way too rushed for our liking.

While it was a tough start it quickly corrected. Ashleigh was attentive and polite. She also share some great recommendations. Seated at the chefs table at first seemed like a bad choice. However we found ourselves talking about the food. We done. We will be back soon!!

Came for brunch late on a Sunday. Casual but fun atmosphere. Very cool menu with lots of eclectic choices. We ordered the wedge salad, waffle, spam sliders and the chicken and biscuits. All pretty tasty, the sliders were probably my favorite- great flavor and the buns were amazing! Menu prices are pretty high- for example 2 sliders were $20. Docked a star for service. Since there were three of us we asked if we could add a 3rd slider to the order. Waitress thought this was a crazy question and kept saying no we couldn't possibly do that, and wouldn't even ask the kitchen. She said we would have to order 2 orders of it. We didn't want 4 sliders with 2 sides of fries we literally just wanted one more slider. It actually seemed quite easy to add another slider (we gladly would have paid the up charge of course). It's a small thing but for a place of relatively high caliber that charges high prices, this shouldn't be that hard to accommodate. Additionally a worker started dust busting around our table while we were still eating (was getting close to closing time). Felt akin to people putting up chairs around you when you're still enjoying your meal. Just some small kinks in service but an otherwise good meal! Would still return to try dinner!

Best meal I’ve had in a long time and the drinks also weren’t shabby. Standouts to me were the Hawaiian buns, mussels, Vietnamese French onion soup, and duck confit. Service’s attention to detail was high and the bathrooms were spotlessly clean. The chocolate cake, while good, wasn’t good enough to make it a stand out item on the menu.

First time there… server forgot part of the order until I reminded them and then I was sick as a dog after eating the ceviche and fish. My wife had the short ribs and was fine. Can’t say I’ll be going back after that experience, which is too bad.

Very good service, excellent presentation without being overly fancy. Good for date night or a small family with older children, or a small group of friends. The food was excellent and creative. Recommended.

Good morning as cold and portions were very small for the price. Cake was very disappointing. Had a gingerbread taste which was yucky when you expect a rich chocolate cake. Very small portion for $16. Service was very slow. Vibe was fun, but very loud due to no carpeting or table cloths to dull the noise. Will not be back. WAY overpriced.
