For me, it is difficult to make this comment, but I believe it is important to share my experience with the intention of helping improve your service.
I really enjoy your food, and yesterday I visited the restaurant with a friend who invited me to lunch. She gave me the opportunity to choose the place so she could get to know it and we could catch up. We ordered appetizers and then our main course. Everything was going well until, without asking us, our plates were removed while we still had food on them.
After that, even though we had not requested the check, it was brought directly to our table. We were surprised, as we were still planning to order dessert and some margaritas after finishing our meal. However, once the check was placed on the table, we felt it was no longer appropriate to order anything else.
Shortly after, the person attending our table quickly returned to collect the payment. My friend was still finishing her drink and had not even taken out her card when she asked, “Do we need to leave?” Although the response was no, the moment felt very uncomfortable. We felt pressured to leave, especially considering the restaurant was quite empty — it was around 3:30 p.m., and there were many available tables with no one waiting.
To avoid making this longer, my friend paid, and we decided to go to the Starbucks next door for coffee and dessert. Honestly, I felt embarrassed because I was the one who recommended the restaurant.
I sincerely hope you can improve these details in your service. I truly love the food, but this experience was very uncomfortable, and unfortunately, I will hesitate before bringing another guest in the future.

Food was really good. Service was friendly and ambiance was fine. Tough to play 28 bucks or whatever for fajitas but I get it. A small steak and a small chicken breast went into it. I just remember not long ago it would have been 14 bucks.

Our favorite restaurant! Outstanding in every category! The staff are phenomenal! The food is great, with large portions, fresh fruit and vegetables, cooked to perfection, and delicious!!!

The food is always good and service is excellent. They keep the water glasses full and they make sure that everything is to your liking. The place was packed and we always make sure we make a reservation, especially if we make it for Friday or Saturday evening. It will be very loud if you expect a quiet atmosphere during these times.

We waited about 20 minutes just to have our order taken. Our server forgot to bring things we requested in a timely manner and we had to make repeated requests. One of the people in our party had a birthday, and we waited another 20 minutes after our meal was cleared for the employees to do their birthday celebration. The entire restaurant was very, very loud. Finally, the tortillas used in the Tacos Bierra (sp?) were overcooked and difficult to chew. I ended up taking all of the filling out and eating it with my rice. It was a very disappointing experience. I will likely not return.
Guapos never disappoints that's why I wanted my colleagues to experience the great food and atmosphere of the restaurant. We had a joyous time there building relationships while enjoying our dining experience.

Guapos Merrifield is a great choice for anytime to make any kind of meal experience enjoyable and most importantly, a delicious one. Tonight, food was amazing in flavor, temperature, and quantity. The server was gracious and had our drinks, appetizers, and meal all come out continuously. After a hard week at work, having dinner at Guapos Merrifield on a Friday night, I know I am going to have a wonderful meal--and start to a great weekend.
