The pasta noodles themselves were ok but the chicken Alfredo I had was more oily than it was creamy. We also had a pizza that the center was undercooked and a little cold. The table we sat at was wobbly. They may have been short staffed or something because the waitress took a bit to get to us. Oh plus the bread you get is cold, the butter is hard and we had to ask for olive oil to dip the bread into.

It was not very busy when we got there but was very busy when we left. We were seated and sat for 30 minutes before I went to find someone to order with. After that it went pretty smoothly. Good prices on the food. Will be back.

Great Pizza, appetizers and salads topped off by a fabulous wait staff! Will definitely be going back.

The food was terrible, I literally could make this pasta at home as a child not gifted in the culinary field. And for $17?? Service was slow as well, took almost an hour from when we went into the store to our main entree to arrive to the table. And why is there a sign saying bon appetit in an Italian restaurant???

Had one of my favorite dishes, Cannelloni with white sauce. The staff did a wonderful job taking care of our table.

Well, the atmosphere the friendly but the service wasn't great (bit rude) and I'm pretty sure the garlic bread was Texas Toast...They were also out of nearly every dessert. The rest of the food was ok, though my friends said her dish tasted recently defrosted... The free bread was nice, I guess. All in all, a bit disappointed.

A very old school family-run vibe. In a day of chain restaurants I appreciate this. The linguine and clams were delicious, and both the lasagna and shrimp scampi were also quite good. The wine selection is small, but when you have quality table wines with generous pours, who cares. I would certainly return anytime.

Been coming to Italian Cafe for a long time and it continues to be my favorite Italian restaurant. The food is fantastic-I had the stuffed veal with Italian ham and cheese and it was very tender, tasty and delicious, served with perfectly cooked pasta on the side and I definitely recommend the fried calamari to start the meal off right. Dessert was a wonderful canoli with a cup of cappuccino. As always, a wonderful meal, great atmosphere and great service!

My favorite Italian restaurant hands down! Reasonable prices (especially the lunch specials), generous portions and absolutely delicious pasta. Even if we're just grabbing takeout we were offered water and a seat while waiting, such a kind gesture. Glad to be living nearby so I can keep coming back to this place!

My wife and I hadn't been here in a while, and I'm happy to report that nothing has changed. Great service, excellent food at very reasonable prices. When you walk into the place, you immediately feel at home. A very comfortable and unpretentious establishment. Love this place.

This is the best Italian around. It's a family place and they make you feel like you're part of the family. Service is very good, efficient and friendly. The food is made on site and is fantastic.

Nice little local spot who doesn't try to be something their not, with solid food and neighborly service. Ordered a pizza to-go, and remembered it being the best pizza I've had in a long time. Server was super friendly. Came here again and unfortunately it wasn't as good, but I still think the pizza was better than average in the area. Service is nice, people who work here are very friendly and prices are decent for an Italian restaurant. I have not tried any of their other entrees to review, but I think this place deserves more attention.

Best bang for your buck Italian restaurant in the D.C. area that I've been to. Food was delicious. I can't believe I haven't gone here sooner!
