The drip coffee is great, but if you're looking for fresh pastries, this isn't the place for you. The atmosphere and service is great.

Can't believe this sea salt Vietnamese coffee was $7. Not worth coming here.
TDM wins in: taste, appearance, size and price. See pictures for comparison if you don't believe.
Java Loco seemed very laidback and quiet when I dropped by around 1700 on a Tuesday afternoon. There weren't too many customers so it was fairly quiet. They have several tables and barstools/table inside with optional outside seating as well. It was a really hot afternoon, so the lack of many customers was much wanted!
I ordered the Golden Dream fruit tea with light ice (unfortunately, the sweetness couldn't be customized!). I also had a chocolate cigar Danish. I asked if they made their pasties in-house. They informed me they were not, but they are local. I didn't get the name of the bakery though. I quite liked the chocolate Danish. The drink was pretty good, but was just a tad bit too sweet for my taste.
I really like the ambiance in there and would not hesitate to go back and try some of their other offerings.

Vietnamese Iced Coffee had a weird fake taste to it. I've had these types of coffees next door at the Pho shop as well as other Pho shops in the area and they're on point. I'm guessing instead of just using Chicory Coffee and Sweetened Condensed Milk they're using some type of powder. For $13 for 2, def won't be returning unless they fix the contents of this drink.

I don’t think a lot of people know about this place which is a shame. they make delicious drinks and the atmosphere is great to catch up with a friend or get some work done.

The first few times I went to Java Loco I loved it - good boba, good service, and the dirty pistachio with sea salt cream is delicious hot or cold. But the last two times I went they messed up my drink and instead of remaking from scratch, the barista just dumped part of the drink out, added what they forgot, and gave it to me without refilling the ice. The drinks ended up warm and watered down. Two different people did this. When you mess up a drink it should be remade, not partially poured out and poorly reconstructed. I am not sure I will stop by again.

I really wanted to like this place because of the atmosphere and their overly priced coffee. However, every single time I come here and order something, they always mess up my order. I kept coming back because they alway apologized. However, this time the cashier/barista did not apologize and basically calling me a liar.I am so disappointed and will not be coming back.

Java Loco is really good! Great bubble tea and a great selection of menu options from milk and fruit teas. I especially love the ambience. It’s a very cute cafe, with great seating options, even cute couch chairs! 10/10 recommend in checking out!

Nice little quaint coffee shop. The Vietnamese coffee was really tasty. Reminds me more of a hot chocolate, but great nonetheless. A little pricey but I'm glad I tried it. Will probably return and try the bubble teas as well.
