Not near me, so I originally discovered when I had a craving and ordered through 3rd party a few times. So good. I was finally near the restaurant and dined in. Service was great and food too. Still the best lentil soup and bread! I always get an extra soup!

We ate at the Jerusalem restaurant 11 years ago when we lived in the area. We were back in town and this was our first choice of restaurants!
They are in a different location and the new location lacks some of the authentic feel the previous location had.
However, the food is still excellent. The hummus and pita bread are the best I've had (i lived in the middle east for 3 years too). My wife loved her beef shawarma and rice. I opted for the Kofta sandwich. The Kofta was good, but the sandwich had way too much lettuce and not enough meat. It was served with French fries that were hot and tasty.

This is a beautiful place, elegantly decorated and very tasteful. The food is amazing. I took my daughter here and she loved it. She plans to bring friends here. We were here for lunch on a Tuesday and were the only people in the restaurant. The waitress took wonderful care of us. Try everything!

After spending time in the Middle East (Kuwait and Jordan), I was missing that authentic flavor and atmosphere. This place is solid on both levels. The menu has all of my favorites to include Mansaf, Hummus with meat, Warak Enub (Grape Leave), Lentil Soup all reasonably priced in an authentic atmosphere. Clean restrooms and friendly attentive staff were the cherry on top!!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Jerusalem is truly a hidden gem. The food is simply outstanding — every bite is bursting with authentic Mediterranean flavor, fresh ingredients, and perfect seasoning. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and feels like home from the moment you walk in.
But what really makes this place special is Nahid, the owner. She is one of the most caring, genuine, and lovely people I’ve ever met in the restaurant world. Her hospitality is beyond exceptional — she treats every guest like family. You can feel her passion in the food, in the service, and in the way she makes sure everyone leaves happy.
I honestly wish all Mediterranean restaurants could take a page from Nahid’s book on how to serve and connect with their customers. Dining here isn’t just a meal — it’s an experience you’ll want to repeat again and again. Highly recommended!

I recently hosted a large dinner party for 40 guests at Jerusalem and the experience was absolutely incredible from start to finish. We chose the buffet option and were able to work closely with the team to customize a menu that suited everyone; from vegetarians and vegans to pescatarians and hearty meat-eaters. Everyone left full and happy!
The food was truly out of this world. The lamb and ribs were a huge hit , tender, flavorful, and impossible to resist. Guests went back for seconds (and thirds!). The variety and quality of every dish were exceptional, and the attention to dietary needs was so thoughtful.
The space itself is beautiful , warmly decorated, inviting, and perfect for a celebratory evening. The atmosphere felt both elegant and welcoming. The service matched the setting: professional, attentive, and incredibly friendly. The waitstaff made sure everything ran smoothly and we felt well taken care of throughout the night.
To top it all off, the desserts were fantastic. The sweet rice was a unique and delicious treat, and the chocolate cake was rich and indulgent , the perfect ending to a perfect meal.
Our guests haven’t stopped raving about the evening. Thank you to Jerusalem for making our event so special. Highly, highly recommended!

Very tasty food, nice friendly staff, reasonable prices . We went for the buffet and we enjoyed a lot. The only issue that made me a little uncomfortable was the unbearable coldness and the restaurant. The temperature was just too cold. Beside that I had a great experience
