Lee’s Sandwiches used to be one of my favorite spots when I lived in California. I was thrilled to find a location near me after moving to Virginia, but unfortunately, my recent experience was extremely disappointing.
I called ahead to politely ask if they could put less ice in my iced coffee since they usually add a lot. To my surprise, the lady at the counter responded rudely, raising her voice and accusing me of wanting more coffee without paying extra. This was not my intention at all—I simply wanted less ice.
To make matters worse, the owner/manager refused to sell me food just because I asked for less ice. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of basic customer service was truly shocking. As a customer looking to support a business I once loved, this encounter was incredibly off-putting.
It’s not the way anyone should be treated when they’re spending their money. I hope the management can address this behavior and improve their customer service. Until then, I don’t think I’ll be returning.
Also customer stated she didn’t care about the bad reviews. Anyways her place is full of BS

Been going to lees for as long as it’s been open, we even went to the original shop in California. I love the #12 vegetarian bahn mi, of course everything is good here. Try the Vietnamese iced coffee. And if you dine in try the iron skillet meal!

This is one of those places that should've stayed closed after covid, front counter demanding a tip for just taking the order and after forcing you to choose what to order like they dont have anything else

The sandwiches here are amazing and the bread is always fresh. The staff are very friendly too. This is my favorite bahn mi spot in the DMV.

Just moved in down the road. I ordered the sardines sandwich and low and behold all I got was two long baguette loaves with bits and pieces stuffed in between for $12!!! What a ripoff!
You could get twice the amount of sandwich contents with loaves twice the size of what you will get here for less than what you pay for here, at literally any other sandwich place at Eden Center.

Greet food and coffee but they close earlier than 7pm. We got here at 6:30pm only to find they were closed. So make sure you keep that in mind when going here.

Liked the food as I ordered from here before but man was I not expecting to get yelled at over the phone when calling in because an uber delivery driver stole the food. Come on man I'm hungry and just as pissed off as you are about the food being stolen but getting yelled at and called a scammer right from the beginning? Not ideal customer service. Why would I even bother calling in if I stole the food? I'm calling in because I'm freaking starving and whoever picked it up never delivered it.
