I stopped in one afternoon after work out of curiosity and was pleasantly surprised.. It's KEBAB!! I wasn't sure what to order and the owner was right there to help me to make my final decision-- the salmon salad and the combo box with chicken and beef. The owner suggested calling ahead next time so there would be less wait time, but I didn't mind since I wasn't in a rush. While waiting, I was given a complimentary plate of grape leaves and a salad to try! Yum Yes!! If you want quality food, please order it from here.

Gah so sad. They used to have the most amazing authentic hummus and these saffron rosewater ice cream sandwiches that were to die for. Tonight the hummus tasted worse than store bought. The bread is no longer puffy pockets of deliciousness baked right before you. The kebab meat is still good though.

One of the best kabob and rice dishes I've ever had -- intricate presentation, rich flavors, generous portions, and fantastic customer service. I highly recommend this place.

So looks like ownership has changed since I last reviewed back in 2016 when this place was named 'meat in a box'. I was afraid that with the name change and new ownership quality would go down. Happy to report everything tastes BETTER. I always order chicken and rice and literally everything was better. Chicken was seasoned much better, cooked much better, tasted much better. Rice tastes better. Hummus was better, as was the bread. Service is friendly. I think the only thing that maybe have gotten a little worse is that it takes a tiny bit longer for the food to be ready. So I recommend you call ahead if you are in a hurry.

Great food, great service!! I've been going here for a couple years now. Every time I'm welcomed like an old friend. Bread is made fresh onsite and you can't go wrong with the hummus or the beef!!! Highly recommend this place!!!

Not much marinate to speak of on the chicken. Rice wasn't seasoned well either. Disappointed

Pretty tasty fare, though not without flaws. The other night we ordered takeout, and we tried Chicken in Box (that comes with two pita sandwiches), the salmon rice platter, and the falafel appetizer. The salmon skewers were nicely grilled to melt-in-your-mouth perfection. However, the chicken in the sandwiches was quite dry and overdone. Another item I did not enjoy at all were the falafels -- I couldn't taste any of the cilantro or other aromatic spices that are typically present in the fried chickpea patties. Instead, there was an overpowering "earthy" flavour that I suspected came from too much sumac -- and we just couldn't finish them. (I realize that this is likely based on their recipe, and some palates may prefer it that way, but I won't be ordering that again.) Although the salmon was a bit pricier at ~$15, it was accompanied by a salad, fluffy pitas and buttery side of rice. I'd be back for just that.

The name says it all, meat in a box. Simple and true meat served up in a box. I ordered the beef box for two. A somewhat average amount of food and flavor for the price of around $10. I got two beef pita rolls and two cups of yogurt sauce. The pita was pretty dense although it was fresh and chewy. The beef was alright. It seemed like ground spiced beef pressed into a meat log. The spice level was mild and imparted average flavors into the meat. The yogurt sauce was pretty good. It's more of a sour cream and adds a nice flavor to the pita. The green hot sauce was strange and had a cucumber like after taste. Sorry I won't be back.

Meat in a Box fits its name nicely. There are no frills or nuances here. Just generous portions of tasty food, mostly involving meat, served in boxes. The space is clean if austere. The location is... unfortunate. Did I mention the food is great? We had chicken wings, beef and chicken wraps, fries, and baklava. The chicken was juicy on the inside with a nicely done "grilled coating", the fries were crisp and flavorful, and the baklava was the best I've ever had. Here's a tip for when you go. The hot sauce goes great with the wraps. Ask for extra if your getting the wings or just get some if you're not. This isn't a place you would want to take a date and the perfect spot to pick up food for a nice evening in. Another tip, the food is made to order and you will want to call ahead if possible.

Got delivery. The kabob meat was deliciously well seasoned. The wings were flavorful even before dipping in there home made Buffalo sauce. The rice was plain and I was hoping something with a little more flavor.

Gonna give you something so you know what's on my mind. A gift real special so take off the top; take a look inside. It's my MEAT IN A BOX! I wholeheartedly wished this place was as good as that Lonely island/JT collab but my tastebuds beg to differ. Ordered the chicken skewers wrapped in pita. The chicken was really dry and I found that my jaw began to hurt from chewing. The yogurt sauce definitely helped though. Friendly staff and great price but I was a bit disappointed. Now I don't want to leave with a bad impression so I'm definitely coming back to try something else. Let's add some stars on that next visit! It's my meat in a box... meat in a box girl.

We tried this place out because of the good reviews it got and because it was just down the road. The guys working there were so chill, it felt like we just walked into someone's local spot and they were very welcoming. We ordered the falafel as an appetizer, and the combo skewers box of 4 ($16.99). It was a combo of beef and chicken wrapped in homemade bread with tomatoes, onions, parsley, and sumac. The food was made to order so it took a while to wait for it, but we ended up getting free bread and pieces of beef with the yogurt sauce to wait. We weren't even eating there, just getting an order to-go, and they gave us a small appetizer while we waited. When the food was ready, I went to go pay, and I accidentally hit their tower of baklava that was in front of the cash register. The guy gave me one of them for free. He said you knocked it over, it is yours. How nice of them! First the appetizer, then the free baklava! We will be back when we are in the mood for Meat in A Box! :)

Our first time coming here. Was on our way to the State Theater and wanted to get a bite before the show. Yelp gave it 4 stars ao we decided to give it a try. Yelp never lets Me down. First impression was wow this place is clean. 2nd impression, the people here are really friendly. Food is cooked to order, nothing sitting is a warming tray. Husband got the chicken and beef combo and I got the lamb. Everything was cooked perfectly, nice char and the meat was nice and juicy and flavorful. The Persian ice tea was really good too. Will be returning here again.

I was so impressed with the salmon that I had to write a review immediately! It was fresh, seasoned well, and perfectly cooked. It was delicious. In addition to the salmon, we also ordered the hummus wedges, beef kabob, and ice cream sandwich. Everything was good! The ice cream sandwich consisted of rose ice cream which was extremely fragrant sandwiched between two pieces of light sugar crackers. Their customer service is also superb, extremely attentive, and very pleasant. The lady at the register was helpful, she knew it was our first time so offered to help. She explained the menu in detail. I will definitely be coming back to this place!
