First of all, i don’t know how this restaurant is avg 4 stars reviews wise, they are so bad, the best they should get is 1 star,Food :about my experience was several disappointing occasions, but my recent one was for ramadan iftar buffet, they were super mega crowded, they placed too much tables for that small space, u barely can move around, the buffet dishes don’t get refilled only after hours, my wife didn’t get most of the buffet, u get only 2 plates, even tho it’s a buffet, we requested two extra plates but they said u only get those 2 plates ?Hygiene:# we noticed a smell coming out from buffet like it spoiled# restrooms are so filthy# restrooms doesn’t support diaper change table for kidsPrices:For a self serving buffet, they charged one table two times mandatory fee 15% ?, for what ?Most of dishes are overpriced and poor quality

The worst experienced I have in my life

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mont olive restaurant, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment We walked in, the ambiance whisked us away to the streets of Morocco, with its vibrant colors and cozy atmosphere that brought lot of nostalgia.Cheer to the Kamal the owner and his well-trained staff for adding the warm hospitality and welcoming that is synonymous with Moroccan culture. Now, let's talk about the food.My visit was on Ramadan iftar, for whom are not familiar with the word, Iftar is simply the meal eaten after sunset of a fasting Ramadan day. So, the expectation bar was high, and I was eager for an exquisite and distinctive meal.Every dish on the buffet was a masterpiece, bursting with exotic flavors and fragrant spices that transported my taste buds to new heights. From the savory tagines to the fluffy couscous and the irresistible pastries not forgetting the healthy soup and salads, each bite was a delightful journey through the rich culinary heritage of Morocco. Not only was the food exceptional, but the presentation was also impeccable, with every dish meticulously arranged to please both the eyes and the palate. And let's not forget about the mint tea with the pre-set chebbakia on the table, a staple in Moroccan cuisine, which provided the perfect refreshing finish to an already exquisite meal.Overall, my experience at the Mont olive restaurant was nothing short of magical and fulfilling my long day of fasting was accomplished.I highly recommend it.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor, no stairs.

In the name of Allah (subhanahu wa ta3ala), the most gracious and the most merciful.I would like to start by stating that I am not the type that leaves reviews unless I am impressed or disappointed as many of us I would like to think.I; however, happened to be both in this SCENARIO: impressed by the quality of the food and the taste that makes my family and I drive from Rockville, MD all the way to Mount Olives (good 40 minute drive from where I live) frequently. Nevertheless, I am very disappointed by the acts of clients and more specifically by Ummat Muhammad, may peace and blessings be upon him, I have never seen people so inconsiderate to food and others as I have witnessed this past Saturday during Ramadan SubhanAllah. people taking food to a table of four as if they were 20 and as if they had never seen food before. Forgetting that our brothers and sisters in Palestine don't even have a loaf of bread and rather some of them baking it with cattle food astaghfiru-Allah.I witnessed with my own eyes the staff throwing filled plates straight to trash right after a family left and just decided to grab more food than they could feed their town back home SubhanAllah.I can tell you why we, Arabs and Moroccans more specifically don't advance any further in life until we clean and clear our soulsقال المولى عز و جل: " إن الله لا يغيّر ما بقوم حتى يغيّروا ما بأنفسهم"Unfortunately, I don't see us changing anytime soon, but what amazes me even more is how some people got the audacity to write a bad review not because they were inconvenienced nor was it because they were disappointed, but they do so just because a staff member felt the need to say something about wasting all that food just for sake of destruction and inconsideration. I would have said something myself as a customer if I really saw those people leave behind plates filled to the top which went straight to trash consequently.THIS IS HARAM brothers and sisters and I am not sure how to knock some sense into your heads, but I would rather make Dua for you that Allah (swt) guide you and us all to the straight path inshaAllah, and forgive our sins and shower us with his countless blessings inshaAllah.Allahumma Ameen ya rab al3alameenForgive me for the length of this as I felt that I really have to do it.

Food is good and service is friendly. However, they get mad when you ask for extra plates. We are paying for buffet service, extra plates shouldn’t be an issue! If you don’t like having too many plates to wash, don’t offer buffet! I’m paying almost $40 per person (with a 15% service charge)i think I can ask for 2 extra plates for that price. I drive 1hr just to come eat here, the last thing I need is to have an uncomfortable time. Last time for sure!
