Two couples- split the lobster noodles and had a few cocktails. It was great! Thanks for another great visit!
Our waiter, Matthew was great in guiding us through the menu choices. In addition, all of the waiters/ waitresses worked together. The food was perfected plated and tasted outstanding. We will definitely return.
Our experience was amazing at Nue and we look forward to going back. There is great attention to detail on presentation on the food and drinks. Everything was tasty!
NUE is one of my favorite places to eat in Falls Church. I have the food 4 stars not because it's not good. The reason I did was I ordered the chicken and rice dish. I think the need to fry the chicken in smaller pieces in order to keep the crunch on it. When you cut the big pieces the crunch falls off. I also think the chicken could have cooked more.
I discovered NUE from Northern Virginia "50 Best Restaurants". They definitely did not disappoint us. We were pleasantly surprised by the décor, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We did have some trouble finding the location using GPS, but when I called, they were kind and very helpful in guiding us with directions. The ambiance was perfect for our pre-Valentine's dinner. We enjoyed the prix fixe Valentine's menu, and the stuffed duck with sticky rice and sausage was especially memorable—perfectly moist and absolutely delicious. Fusion-style cuisine is my favorite, and NUE truly elevated every dish we tried.
Wonderful food and service. The octopus is the best I have ever tasted. The sauce is so good, I literally wanted lick the plate. Also there were great options for my vegan friend and she really enjoyed the items our server recommended (spring rolls and risotto). Will definitely be back because there are so many other dishes I want to try.
The moment we stepped in we were greeted and had a wonderful conversation with the hostess. Dinner and drinks tasted absolutely wonderful. Our waiter was gracious, informative about the food we wanted to order. We will for sure go back again.

Cute vibe, happy hour, great service, will be back!
Happy Hour states only in bar area, which is cute! There is also a “lounge” area that still honors happy hour prices with green couches and elevated ambiance!
Chicken wings: 4/5 crispy and nice flavoring.
Brussel sprouts: 5/5 sweet and savory with lychee! I can describe the combination of flavors here but must try!
Crispy Whole Fish: 10/5!! Perfectly flaky and seasoned! I had the medium which says served 2, definitely probably 3! Especially if you have starters!
They validate 2 hour free parking in the garage underneath!

Not sure what people is writing five star restaurant, to begin with is very expensive for what you get, most of the stuff is curry or really sweet, I got crunchy fish, Wheat noodles that were extremely sweet. I couldn’t even finish. To me it was extremely expensive and not worth it food.
Very attentive wait staff, creative cuisine

Went to try out this restaurant during restaurant week because we have seen it pop up a few times on IG and thought it looked promising. It did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the staff was very attentive and welcoming. YC our server and as well as the other staff constantly checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Someone was always coming by to promptly clear the dishes for the next course. I think the value and the options of the restaurant week menu are great. You get to try a little bit of everything and for a good price. They are not skimpy on the portion sizes either. We enjoyed everything we ordered. I also really appreciated that we had ample time in between when each course was served before the next one came out. Did not feel like a rushed meal and allowed plenty of time to digest before enjoying next course.
One thing I did not realize when we booked was that Chasin Tails was a sister restaurant and they shared a kitchen. Let me just say, I LOVE seafood. So, when I saw all these amazing looking seafood dishes coming out of the kitchen I kept saying to my bf “I didn’t see that on the menu!” Ashley, one of the managers noticed my overly enthusiastic expressions and probably me drooling at the mouth and came over and explained the shared kitchen and offered to allow us to order anything from the sister restaurant and have it brought over. I thought that was really nice of her and appreciated the fact that she was being very attentive of the guests. We declined and said we would just have to come back and try the sister restaurant at another time.
As we were finishing up and settling our check, Ashley came over with a $50 gift card to Chasin Tails for us to come back and try the seafood dishes there. I WAS BLOWN AWAY! That was such a kind thing for her to do and she didn’t have to do that. I was almost in tears. THANK YOU SO MUCH! What a great example of going above and beyond and creating a special moment for your guests! We really appreciated it Ashley! You are amazing!
Needless to say, we will be back for both restaurants in the future!

After seeing this pop up on my Instagram feed I invited a friend to have lunch with me. The ambiance is lovely - green velvet seating, fake floral accents along the ceiling and intimate seating. Even though it was busy, the volume was never overwhelming.
Our waiter, along with the hostesses and other serving staff were extremely professional and prompt.
I unfortunately have a weird array of food allergies and reactions right now, so my choices were limited but I had the salmon and it was perfect. The crisp ride and glaze were to die for. The papaya Caesar salad was another surprise gem I would come back for again and again. My husband had the fried chicken sandwich and it smelled heavenly.
It’s not a cheap lunch option, but definitely worth checking out in the falls church area.

I had such a wonderful experience at NUE. This Vietnamese restaurant is truly special, offering unique and flavorful cuisine in a beautiful, elegant setting. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The staff greeted me warmly, and the atmosphere immediately stood out. The floral decor combined with walls covered in a single large art piece creates a stunning and aesthetic environment that feels both chic and inviting. The whole space is thoughtfully designed, cute, and fancy, making it perfect for a special meal.
The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, each presented gorgeously. Everything we ordered looked incredible and tasted even better. Our server, Sam, was fantastic. He gave great recommendations, was very friendly, and checked in multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. The service was fast, attentive, and professional. Every dish looked absolutely mouthwatering.
For our appetizer, I had the chili oil wontons. They were beautifully presented and packed with amazing flavor. For a drink, I tried the lychee Blue Butterfly drink, which was refreshing, fresh, and perfectly balanced.
For entrees, we had the Imperial Wagyu Zabuton, which was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The Coconut Risotto was also a highlight, with tofu and vegetables creating a comforting and delicious base. I added scallops, which elevated the dish even more. It was rich, flavorful, and absolutely satisfying.
Overall, NUE provides an exceptional dining experience. Every dish we saw being served looked equally tempting, so I have no doubt that anything on the menu would be delicious. Between the gorgeous presentation, the creative and flavorful food, the beautiful decor, and the excellent service, I will definitely be coming back. This restaurant is a must visit for anyone looking for a unique and elevated Vietnamese dining experience.
