The cupcakes are pretty but they are sure are a let down! We drove across town and spent 23.00 for 4 cupcakes vanilla sprinkle, oreo and red velvet). We ended up just eating the cake part, and that was nothing special. The icing consistency left me thinking I was literally eating a stick of butter blended with cream cheese. Very little sweetness and no vanilla flavor. I know the icing should balance the cake but when both are bland they just competing to lose. Sorry, I would give no stars if I could.

You must try the alfajor!!! It was soooo yummy. My other coworkers tried a few things too and we all love the food. The service was ok, just wished some of the workers didn't seem like we were bothering them by being there.
I had been standing outside looking for a store that was nearby. I popped in here to see if I could ask someone where the store was, and in the meantime was wow-ed by all the dessert and considered getting something. I waited patiently for a few minutes, but after the cashier walked directly by me several times without even making eye contact, much less saying hello, I left. Too bad, because I am a dessert enthusiast and never saw this spot before today. I feel like you can't work at a bakery and have a bad attitude lol, meanness around sweets is just .... not right.

I first visited this coffee shop & bakery 11 years ago and loved it... I can safely say that 11 years later, it is still wonderful! The staff are friendly and remember regular customers and their orders. The baked goods are delicious. This is definitely one of my favorite spots in northern VA.
