The biscuits are like pound cake. The gravy is bland. I should've known they wouldn't know how to make biscuits and gravy up North. Save your money and go to Hardee's.

Food is good, however be careful with ordering online. I paid extra for toppings and they were not added to my sandwiches. I tried calling the store multiple times for some type of resolution but no one answered the phone. Unfortunately, I’ll just have to take this loss and remember not to order online again.

My husband and I love biscuits, so we figured we would stop here to try out a new place. I got the Brekkie and added sausage with an over easy egg. Placed it for pickup. The sausage was very bland, and my egg was nowhere near over easy, more like fried. The whole thing overall lacked seasoning. Not sure if the other biscuits taste more flavorful than this one or not. Overall I was not very impressed.

We were passing through Virginia on a morning errand run and needed a solid breakfast before heading back north. A quick search led us to Preservation Biscuit Company, and the reviews didn’t lie — this place is the real deal.
The menu read like a love letter to Southern comfort, but the PBC biscuit — fried chicken, pimento cheese, and a perfect buttery crumble — was impossible to resist. We grabbed two of those and a mac-and-cheese version for good measure. Every bite was rich, flaky, and downright addictive.
By the time we hit D.C. traffic on the way home, we were still smiling — partly from the biscuits, partly from pure food joy. Five stars, and we’d drive out of our way to stop again.

Sorry to say I did not like the biscuit. Bojangles, Wendys, and Red Lobster have delicious moist biscuits. This biscuit was dry and flavorless. The staff was wonderful and the free seating, without having to tip, was nice. Music was too loud.

Very cute spot, wonderful comfort food. The owner is so accommodating and running around working her butt off.

I was very excited to try this place. The menu choices are great. Service was friendly. I just found the flavor of the biscuits themselves to be blah.

We ordered online for our first order. When we picked up the staff confirmed our vegetarian ordered and our regular orders. She then even randomly refunded us $2 without us even mentioning it saying for one of the orders we didn’t have to pay extra for vegetarian meat. I think this speaks a lot about the business that she took initiative of doing that. Picture of the food included!

I got the Southern Belle with two biscuits. The cookie to gravy ratio is terrible. There’s barely any gravy and you’ll run out of it before you even finish the first biscuit. The gravy was good though.

Came on a whim and very satisfied with our choice's. Big portions enough for a split of a sweet and a savory

Yes - the biscuits are huge - but the bacon and egg are disproportionate in terms of it being a sandwich. A single strip of bacon for the price was disappointing. The biscuit was OK - but dry (in my opinion) and needed a little something (maybe a jam?)

Incredibly slow service. Saturday morning they only had 2 employees working: taking orders, cooking the food, prepping the food. Took forever to get my to-go order. Atmosphere is standard, not anything cool. Food is fine, mac and cheese is mediocre and biscuits are crumbly. Make sure you have plenty of time to wait if you come here. They need more employees, the people working were doing their best.
