Pupuseria La Familiar

I visited this place for the second time since I went yesterday and I liked their smoothies, this time I ordered chicken with slices (the worst chicken with slices I have ever eaten in my life) they gave me an almost empty plate, I went to complain and they took my plate away (they didn't change it) they only put more cabbage to make it look like a normal order but the plantain slices were the same cold and few, my stomach hurt and for this reason I would not buy that food again. I forgot to mention that I waited more than 43 minutes for that food.

It’s not a fast food place, it’s a restaurant and the pupusas are made fresh, it’s worth a bit of wait time. It’s like any other restaurant wait time. The service is friendly and attentive. The best beef soup and pupusas I’ve had in over 25 years!

I ordered delivery and the pupusas were super sour. They smelled bad as if made tinder in advance and left in a fridge. The sopa de res was tasty but some of the vegetables were hard and undercooked.

I was visiting from Louisiana, and stopped by to have some food, it did not disappoint. I had a bit of several things and it was all good. Wendy and her sisters are very friendly.

Great pupusas as well as other dishes. The beef soup was incredible. For dessert, please order the flan. Love the attitude of the people that work there and the overall atmosphere. Also, very good price!! Highly recommend.

Yesterday afternoon I went to buy some pupusas with cheese and beans, I bought 8 and more like 5 of cheese and they were pure salt. I smelled a lot of dry cheese. I didn't like them at all. Today I threw them away.

No. This is not how a traditional pupusa should taste. I am from El Salvador, and I know what I am talking about.
First, the cheese they used. I am still trying to guess what kind of cheese that was. The curtido, no even close..
any way, I will never return and I don’t recommend this restaurant.
