I had a great experience in this restaurant. We loved the nice environment and the food. The staff members were super amiable. I’m happy we ultimately decided to visit here.

I love this place and go frequently. Their ramen is amazing and the service is always friendly and prompt. The design of the place is cool with a Japanese pop feel and manga books along the wall. I highly recommend for anyone in the area. This should be a regular spot. The only reason I give 4 stars, instead of 5, is because their menu is a bit limited. They've been expanding the menu a bit recently, though.

I ordered a very specific order for my ramen over the phone. The woman on the phone was barely even paying attention, had to force her to tell me what my total would be before getting there. Then when i come home i find they barely gave me ANYTHING the menu said was going to be in the miso ramen and also kept an item in there i specifically asked not to add due to an allergy and low and behold that’s what was in my ramen. Total waste of money. The only positive experience about this was the man who rang me up when i came to get my order because he was kind. I will never be returning here again.

Authentic ramen! So underrated! Owner is nice and humble. Dining area is superb compare other ramen shop. Parking might be a problem, but I don't care.

Could have been better. Did not meet my expectations of a 4.4 average review on Google maps. We each got No.1 and an Appetizer Sampler to share. 1. Broth was very bland. We all had to add extra salt.2. We asked for medium spicy level. There was NO spiciness at all.3. Toppings were alright. The chashu also lacked flavor. 4. Appetizer Sampler. The fried chicken was decent, best thing on the table. Fried squid was very bland, wannabe calamari. Not worth the $13.99 per bowl, especially the small portions. You are better off buying fancy ramen from the grocery store and add sandwich meat for protein. Not worth the cost, calories, and time.Would not recommend nor return.

Fantastic service.I ordered from them via uber eats, and part of my order for messed up, when we contacted Uber didn't respond but these folks did. They actually wound up having to drive to my apartment twice (due to a miscommunication on my part about my phone number so they couldn't contact me on arrival)And the second time they showed up, they were still very nice, professional and even apologized for the original mistake even though it wasnt clear of was them or uber.Probably the best customer service experience I've had at any restaurant in this situation and the food tastes great too. Will definitely recommend to anyone.

This ramen place is exactly what my soul needed. I recently moved to the area and have been looking for great food that is also reliable and authentic during this time of Covid. I called as soon as they opened and my lunch was ready to be picked up in 10 minutes. Their signature ramen was delicious and I am so excited to try out the rest of the menu. The staff was also very friendly and they are doing a great job of protecting their customers with excellent sanitation. I will be frequently coming back to the Ramen Factory 42

I really enjoyed the aesthetic they had going on. They had a bunch of manga out on the seating area and their beer handle was a samurai sword handle. It was very cool. However, in my opinion, the ramen base lacked in flavor and the meat was a bit too thinly sliced. I got the Kakata Tonkatsu Ramen, and it was a bit plain. However, unlike some ramen restaurants, they gave you the whole egg instead of half and I appreciated that!

I ordered the Hakata tonkatsu ramen and was a bit disappointed. The portion was not worth for the price. Usually I am unable to finish ramen when I go out, but when I ate here, I finished the bowl and was still hungry. The meat was cut so thin and the broth didn't have much flavor. However, their customer service was better.

Overall, a nice spot to take friends or family for dinner! I most loved the atmosphere, a lot of the feel, including the accessories, at Ramen Factory center around Japanese culture, with manga on shelves and other pop culture references around the restaurant. We ordered edamame and karaage as appetizers, both very good and came out promptly. I got the ramen and, overall, thought that it was good! The noodles are thinner, which is not my preference, but the broth was delicious. I didn't enjoy the meat as much, but thought as a whole it was good and filling! Worth checking out!

I randomly stumbled upon this place when looking for an Asian restaurant for dinner in the falls church area and what a great find it was. I was trying to be vegetarian at the time so I ordered their veggie ramen. It came with tofu and other toppings. What's so great about the tofu in the ramen is that the tofu pieces have edamame in them. I thought that was so creative and adds an extra level of texture to each bite. I highly recommend this place for their veggie ramen.

What stands out to me about Ramen Factory 42 is the quality and authenticity of their ramen and level of service. In how they prepared and presented the ramen I felt it was much more similar to the style seen in Japan as compared to many other ramen shops around the DC-area which normally have a much more fusion/Americanized style to attract the local customer base. The ramen quality was delicious, carefully constructed, rich, and flavorful. The service also had the ringings of the traditional Japanese ramen bar style as well. The shop itself is pleasant and humble, with table sitting and bar stool-type sitting. Prices were not too low nor too high. A pleasant ramen shop that stands out on some aspects of its style and design.

The best Ramen I've had in the area. Ingredients are fresh, broth is delicious, and plant based options are available! Clean and well lit atmosphere within restaurant.

I really liked the style and ambiance of Ramen Factory 42. I felt the quality of their ramen was delicious, flavorful, complex, and reminiscent of the ramen in Japan as compared to the often more fusion/mellow style of ramen in the US and even in the DC-area. The setting was pleasant, with both bar-style sitting looking out the windows and tables. They had a good amount of options to choose from and pricing was appropriate. What stood out as well was that their style of service felt much more authentically Japanese than most ramen places you'll find around - a nice touch that adds to the experience. Almost felt like a ramen shop that would be in Tokyo!
