We went to Silver Diner after work last night because we didn’t feel like cooking and wanted something we know is always solid for us. Silver Diner has consistently had our backs with the quality of the food, the service, and the welcoming atmosphere, and over time we’ve even made a few friends there.
Last night we met Snehhah, who was our waitress, and she was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. We ended up having a great conversation—she shared a bit about her experience moving from Nepal to Virginia and going to school, and she also took the time to ask about us. It’s rare to meet someone who balances great service with such genuine connection, and we really appreciated it.
My husband had the smash burger and I had the veggie ciabatta sandwich, and as usual our plates were completely finished. The food was excellent, just like every time we visit.
We also want to mention Yoon, one of the managers, who is one of the people we always enjoy catching up with, though we missed him last night. That’s part of what makes this place special to us—the relationships as much as the food.
We love coming here and look forward to many more visits.

I’m new to the area and I wanted to try this place out. My sister and I were greeted by the hostess, Sebastian, who seated us right away. Shyam, our server, gave us great recommendations. We had Brussels sprouts, crab and corn chowder with crabcake, chicken pot pie, and ricotta and lemon pancakes! And my sister loved her mimosa flight! I know, a lot of food for just the two of us so we definitely had leftovers. Yoon, the manager, stoped over to our table when he heard I was new to the area and wanted to say hello. The friendliness at this diner is on point!! I will definitely be back.

I’m from Philadelphia and this diner was fantastic and the manager “yoon”was one of the nicest guys I ever met. They went above and beyond for my grandson for his birthday. He just turned eight and made him feel very special and me and my family enjoyed their food so much. Everything was fantastic. It was by far my favorite diner I ever been too I wish there was one Near my house I would eat there every day and it’s hard to find a place to eat where all the food is fantastic and have the Greatest hospitality you can have everybody that worked there are amazing
