We had a BLAST, A SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR MY DEAREST FRIEND TURNING 70! Her husband and daughters and sons pulled this off WELL! The food was FANTASTIC, the SERVICE was EXCELLENT! It was a great place for the young children to have fun playing games! The staff was EXCEPTIONAL at helping when there was a need! Oh.......and she was so SURPRISED at so many wonderful family and friends who came to BLESS her special day!

Ok, I will be the first to admit that I am slightly biased. I am here OFTEN. However, it is for a good reason. Everyone is friendly, some are very knowledgeable of the brewing process, and everyone is worth getting to know. If you have kids, or you are a kid at heart, there are pinball machines, arcade games, and a basketball game in the back. Food wise, they have options, but there are less options than there used to be (the reason I knocked a star). However, what they have is GOOD. My favorites are the spicy chicken thighs and the soft pretzel. If you want something to drink, you can never go wrong with a Jucy Lucy or Vibrant Thing. But you can never go wrong. Just ask the bartenders for a taster. And don't forget, TIP WELL.

This is a great spot! Just off the W&OD bike trail, that is one of the main bike routes that cuts across northern Virginia and connects to the Curtis train leading you into DC.
Not sure if folks are aware but DC is one of the most billable cities in the nation.
If your not into biking no need to worry there is a big parking lot here as well.
They have good outdoor seating, great food, lots of TVs inside along with games in an adjacent sections next to their brewing vats. It’s a family friendly spot but also a good place to bring a group of friends for some beers and sports.
I’d recommend this place, Solace does a great job overall in all of their locations but this is one of the first I visited around the area. Cheers!
