Kind and prompt waiter attended to us throughout the evening. We ordered lemonade, hummus, a lamb dish and appetizers. All were excellent! The lemonade blew us away. It was a blended fresh mint and fresh lemonade ice crush. We had Sambousa with meat - very tasty. The lamb was slow cooked over a lovely light rice with saffron (?). The main dish was plenty for two persons. The hummus, made on the premises, was some of the best we've tasted. We also had Mara - a lamb broth soup - also full of flavor. The waiter gave us (on the house) a Yemeni style salad with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and parsley. Wonderful. The table got a very large flat bread. We'll be back with friends to treat them to this delicious cuisine! There is plenty of outdoor seating. as well as indoor seating. The restaurant has another name too - Balqees.

I ordered the Ma'asoub and not only it took them 30 min (when they said 10 min) it smelled like onions for some reason. I also found a piece of garlic inside one of them which made it even worse. This resturant is good, but go to the other location because this one service and food is horrible.

Chicken mandi & lamb hanith tasted exactly the same. Traditionally the rice in these 2 very different dishes should taste different. Usually hanith rice is white seasoned with salt, bay leaf, and other simple seasonings. Mandi is usually seasoned with turmeric and other simple seasonings. Both dishes here had turmeric and tasted exactly the same. The lamb was chewy and didn't taste very fresh . It was quite plain, which seemed as if it hadn't been steamed enough. The dishes are WAY overpriced, even though the food is plentiful. Probably the only reason I'd pay this price again. Essentially, this is the place for Saudis to get their fix since Aldeera is the only Saudi restaurant in the area (and US, I believe) and not worth it either. Been to this location and the Fairfax location. Customer service is always slow.

Me and my friend we went there and we had very terrible service the lady who served us was very rude to me when I asked her for the check. She didn't like the fact that I asked for the check. Then when she gave me the check I saw the amount was different from the menu amount. When I asked why the check is different she responded that this menu is old menu and they don't have the new menu yet. And all of sudden she start screaming saying to leave and that she don't want my money because I asked her if I can pay for my order the same amount that it show in the menu. She refused and she said go and pay your money to charity. She was very disrespectful to us. Never going to the restaurant. Not recommended at all

I really enjoy the food at Saba. The portions are large and very filling-enough for two people to share an entree. The mandi and haneeth are to die for. So much flavor. The pita bread is bigger than my face! I also love the traditional cucumber tomato salad that comes from the Middle East, and Saba makes a really good one. A little too tomato heavy for me, but it is good. The haneeth is my favorite on the menu here. The only thing I don't like is that I the broth is more oily than I usually like, but it is hardly noticeable once it's mixed into the rice and lamb. I definitely suggest trying it!

We had Chicken Mandi and chicken Kabsa and really enjoyed for dinner. It was really delicious taste with great quality, everything had unique taste which we had ordered, nice arrangement and services from the staff while eating, we found nothing bad about this hotel. Very friendly staff, well cooked Lebanese food. Me and my kids loved it

Tucked away in Falls Church is one of my fave restaurants around, Saba Yemeni Food. This small, unassuming restaurant in a strip mall turns out outstanding Yemeni food in a super relaxed, family friendly environment. We've been going to this place for years and it never disappoints! I always always get a dish called Fahsa, which I highly recommend. Fasha is a bubbling hot, fragrant stew cooked with vegetables and fenugreek, served in a clay pot with fresh flaky flatbread. They have tuna or beef Fahsa options available, though I always get the beef. Fasha is a classic Yemeni dish you won't find in pan-Arab or other Middle Eastern restaurants, so you're really getting something special when you order it. When it comes stir it up a bit, rip off some bread, and dig in! You typically eat this dish with your hands, by using the bread to scoop up little bite size bits of deliciousness. It can be a bit messy, though that's part of the fun!

I pre-ordered food on Friday for a party I was having on Saturday. I called on Saturday to confirm, they seemed confused but took down my name and the order again for a 5pm pickup. I tried calling again many times between 4pm and 5:15pm as I was delayed by 20 minutes, but it only went to a phone service that was full. When I got to the restaurant, the food was not ready. They had to make it and I waited 35 minutes, leaving me late for my own party. I got home and found guests freezing outside. When I took the lid off the food, which was a big tray of the Chicken Mandi, it only had white rice, fresh diced tomatoes and a little bit of diced raw onions. Not at all the Chicken Mandi I'd had for a party two weeks earlier or what it says it is in the menu. I called them and said I didn't get what I ordered. They apologized and said the chef changed it and shouldn't have without asking me. They said they could give me a new Chicken Mandi tomorrow. I told them my party was now so tomorrow would be no good, but if they could refund me the money instead of giving me a new tray tomorrow then that would be fine. I then ended up having to explain the story to three different people until the last one said they had to discuss it with the manager. I called back on Sunday and they told me the manager would call me back around 5pm. At 7pm there was still no call, so I called them. I asked for the manager and it seemed like I got handed to someone and then hung up on. I called right back but no one answered. I got the answering service that was full. It's a shame that customer service is so hard to do right. I will not order from them ever again. Taking money for something that's not what they say it is is not OK. A few people tasted a little of the food and said it was bland. 90% of the food was left untouched as it didn't look good. We ended up having to make food instead of having a relaxed pre-made meal. I will update the review if they call me back and give me a refund. If not, this stands as a warning to all.

I was so happy when we got there today because we were craving Yemeni food we had 10 people in our party and as soon as we walked-in the guys looked upset because they were about to eat lunch. They didn't have that good welcoming attitude they didnt want to seat us we had to wait a little. (So lazy) We wanted to leave but it was already too late becuase we were extremely hungry. After we were seated the only person who was nice was our server who was Abdul-Rahman (a guy from Mauritania) he served us well and was very hard working. He spoke well English and arabic and knew every item on the menu. The food was pretty good(delicious) the restaurant was NOT very clean food and litter pretty much everywhere especially on the floor, plates all over the tables. The lady was nice she checked on us 1 time but our server was the only good this about this restaurant We wont go back there again, next time we will go to a different Yemeni place.
