It was my first time here. I came to get my husband and I a sandwich. Needless both of us were very disappointed with our vegan and regular Reuben sandwiches. The sandwiches should have been called grilled cheese with sauerkraut because the meat was rather non existent.

I had the melted Cuban sandwich with tots and dip. Very good! They even played campy horror movies. Planet Terror was on screen! Maryland drivers suck and I wish they'd fly up and off the face of the earth and land in the sun.

A bar where grilled cheese is the star, can you believe it?!? Food gets a 10. I love the mushroom grilled cheese. And no worries they also have tomato soup. Ambiance is cool and different (tho seating is often full so u may have to wait to sit a bit depending) and staff is v kind. Def recommend for ur grilled cheese craving

Good sandwiches. Good tater tots. Decent salad but don't love their balsamic dressing. There is music but it's not so loud you can't talk. But it's also not just "in the background,' so if you have hearing issues, this is not the place for you. I didn't like the beer I picked but that's just luck of the draw. They do have a relatively large selection. The best part though is you can get a "mini" glass to just try a small amount at a cheap price--in case you don't like it.

Favorite bar! Only alt spot in falls church, I go just about every week. They have a rotating selection of craft beers in a few different sizes, great drunk eats- tator tots and creative grilled cheese, including vegetarian (and potentially vegan?) options, and they're always playing good music and showing some kind of cheesy/cult classic flicks on a tv behind the bar above the taps. Really great atmosphere even when busy, typically i don't love being in crowds but i actually like when it's a little busy here- just gotta be quick or willing to wait a while on fridays and saturdays bc they fill up quick. 100% worth it.Vegetarian options: I'm not vegetarian but the options they have are expansive and tasty as far as the ones I've tried :)Parking: There are about 10 parking spaces in their lot, it's a pretty quiet block so there are places to park on the street around the corner, but as far as the bar's lot it's pretty limitedWheelchair accessibility: They are not wheelchair accessible, there are three steps to get into the building. If you can get in, its still a tight squeeze as far as navigating the bar.
God I love this place, one tv that only plays random movies with no sound is awesome, if you ever hit a lull in conversation with whomever you're with you have this random movie playing it's great. Simple premise executed well, grilled cheese and beer. The beer lists are usually pretty good. Servers are always chill and will recognize you as a regular even if you're they're like 2 times a month.

Who knew you could make meatloaf into a grilled cheese...well you can and it's amazing!!! The staff are friendly and welcoming. I always stop in whenever I'm in town for work. If you are on a diet and trying to eat healthy...it's ok to have a cheat day and eat at spacebar.

Great selections of brews and awesome grilled cheeses and tots. Simple food but done well. Parking can be difficult (as the parking lot is small) but don’t let that discourage you to try some grilled cheeses and beers!
