Thanh Son Tofu

Crowded on a Saturday morning and the ordering system is a little confusing for a first timer.
I went in for the fried tofu, which was delicious and warm. I tried the mushroom + onion and the lemongrass chilli, both of which had a lightly crisp exterior and moist, flavourful interior. A little greasy, but easily fixed in an air fryer. Decently priced at $5/lb.

Very bad experience, their customer service is atrocious. Clear sign to order Tofu posted in Vietnamese. But of course folks jumping lines and viet girl with green hair enforcing random rulings. Never eat this stuff, not my thing but granny likes getting diabetes indulged.

Always visit here whenever I am heading down to Virginia or stayed in Washington DC or Maryland. I recommend this place when you are in the area.

Worth braving the long line. Recommend the steamed bao. Its loaded with meats incl Chinese sausage and shrimp.

Today is Labor Day, I introduced my friends to stop by the restaurant to buy quite a bit of food. The total of 2 Bills is nearly 150 dollars. My friend and I stopped by at 6:00, close to closing time, and I encountered a rather unpleasant situation. He charged Vietnamese people (I don't know if he was the owner or not).

Because my friends are new to Vietnam, they are also qualified and financially not poor, but because I accidentally introduced them to them, I will receive free soy milk for bills over 30 dollars. With that amount of money, I was quite annoyed because this guy raised his voice when he forgot to give a gift and also acted like he was someone who never made a mistake. I swear I'll avoid this guy next time.

I know this place for more than 15 years. We are the regular customers, and what keeps us coming back is their soy milk and fried tofu. However, we've noticed the soy milk has been watered down and the flavor is no longer as good as before. It's not just that day. We came back for a few more times but it's the same. Very disappointed...

Great place to get fried tofu in multiple flavors -- the lemon grass with bits of chili is our family favorite! It's also only $5 per pound. Not having to prepare our own tofu is especially welcome on hot days. They also have terrific smoothies with boba, though you can't pick your own sweetness level the way you can with the chain places.

I just bought xôi & fish cake this morning July 4th, asked about fish cake taste , because they have two flavors , Spanish lady doesn’t know well fish cake, the guy who is short & older than the other cashiers, He is very mean & raise voice with me. I told him, don’t raise voice with me, I buy , your stuff is not free ok . I wish that something will happened with their business, don’t be shuck with customers Ok . Wis That Thanh Son will be death in future, without thanh Son I’m still alive …
