The trout and the brisket were delicious, one side, the beets were very nice, broccoli that came with the trout was rather limp and grey, but flavorful, maybe just needed to be blanched prior to grilling. The bread basket had freshly baked, warm, 3 selections, 2 very good, one a bit underdone, a spoon biscuit. Nelson was a knowledgeable server of food and drink. One person had white wine, another a beer on tap, and it was a welcome suprrise that The Falls had two of the premium non-alcohol beers, both Athletic brand, one an IPA. The noise level was just moderate on this weeknight dinner. We will return to this pretty and delicious addition to Falls Church dining.

First time at The Falls. Has a family vibe for sure which is a good thing. The staff was awesome, some of the best most attentive service I've received in a while. The wait staff has perfect timing leaving us alone most of the time but on top of drink refills and mid meal requests. I will be a repeat visitor soon. Thank you for helping my family & myself celebrate my birthday. Bravo to the owners and staff on a wonder 1st time experience.

Loved the food, service and ambience. Best place to bring a very hungry college guy who really took advantage of your $29 All You Can Eat Brunch Deal. I think you guys lost money on him, sorry! Will definitely be back!

Our waiter Mikey was great. The ambiance is nice and cozy-like however the noise level is high since it's an open platform (bar and restaurant seating). The food is delicious... the beef brisket, pulled pork, both brussell sprouts, and green beans (#1).

Sara H was a great server. Very friendly and gave great recommendations on menu items. I had shrimp and grits-excellent and my partner had pulled pork. Excellent choices. So glad to have Falls in the neighborhood!

The food was really good, the service was incredible; seated, apps and main course all happened in under 30 mins. Left in under an hour and the prices were reasonable. We will be back!

What a gem this place is! The pulled pork sandwich was among the best I've ever had. My friend loved the mushroom melt. Other friend loved the brisket bowl. Service was exemplary! We'll be back!

I was hoping for so much more. I like Liberty Tavern, their sister restaurant in Clarendon. When they opened here, originally under a different name, I gave it a shot, was unimpressed, and never went back. After their reinvention as The Falls, I figured I would give it another shot. It was, at best, no better than before. We started with their Homemade Bread Basket. It included biscuits, cheddar chive scones, cornbread pieces, and a ramekin of honey butter. Of all that, the only good parts were the honey butter and the cornbread. I don't know if the corn pudding consistency at the center of the cornbread was intentional or a happy accident, but I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I tasted my wife's Bing Cherry Margarita, and it was gross. I had a Falls Lager, which was ok if a bit on the warm side. My burger was tasteless and accompanied by an absurdly massive amount of soggy fries. I also had their street corn, which turned out to be a boiled ear of corn that had been grilled for a few seconds, and then had some sauce, much the same sauce as was on my burger, and that came with the fried chicken, smeared on one side. My daughter ordered their fired chicken, a mainstay at the Clarendon location. All she could manage was part of a drumstick. I tasted it and understood why. It had a foul taste. All in all, this was not a good meal... not even a passable one.

We are locals and always enjoy our dinners in their relaxed casual environment. My husband loved his hanger steak and fries, my pulled pork and sides were very good. The star of the evening was the the Virginia Julep cocktail. IT was served in a chilled silver glass with crushed ice. It was a lovely presentation and really good and refreshing.

Service upon initial seating was slow.. Then a new server came on duty and then everything else was a team, providing everything .. The new server did apologize as thy had just come on duty. Net, all other outdoor servers should have asked us if we had been approached for service .better to know than for the. Customer wait forever

We went for lunch. Our party of 4 enjoyed the grain bowls and shared a dessert. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service is top notch! Looking forward to trying the outdoor patio soon now that the nice weather is here.

Small Plate brunch is highly recommended. Everything was great except our waitress. Every other position was very good, really good. Our waitress based our empty table 3 times before asking what else we wanted to order. She had an entitled vibe to her for reasons unknown to us. When we go again, we will make sure we have a different waitress and I bet we get up to 5 stars but if we get her, might have to change to 3 stars. Note, tipping is now earned in my eyes but I felt bad for the great bus boys (I assume they still share tips or no?)

The food was pretty bland. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. The service was adequate not quite on point but not lacking either. It all it was just kinda average.

Four of us dined at The Falls on a Friday evening to celebrate two birthdays among us. As always since this restaurant was reborn, the food was excellent and the service was first rate. In fact, we think the servers are the most efficient and friendly in Northern Virginia. We were provided with on the house birthday treats for dessert. Our only complaint was the noise level. When the restaurant was renovated during its rebirth apparently sound proofing was not a priority.
