This is part of what they brought out as “Swedish pancakes”. We couldn’t finish it - what a joke! They don’t bother giving lingonberry sauce or proper whipped cream, either. Instead we got some strawberry jam looking stuff and butter. Don’t even bother going.

The restaurant at noon was practically empty, which should have been our first warning… Then, after the food was served the waitress took 15-20 minutes to come back to see if everything was OK. I had ordered a cheeseburger, so you might ask, how could that go wrong?! It was the saltiest cheeseburger ever made! As I bit into it, the burger felt like it was made in a salt mine! I could hear my teeth crunching through the salt! I took about 5 miniature bites and had to put it down! I felt like I was slipping into a salt coma, as I literally had to go outside and walk around for 15 minutes!!! They did prepare another one for me, but when my family came outside to find me, with a to-go box, I instructed my spouse to throw that new burger away!!! If they screwed up the first cheeseburger, I was not going to even take a chance on a second one!!!!! I’ll never go back, ever!!! Horrible!!! Negative rating if that is possible!!!!!!

Tried it because I am missing Walkers Pancake Houses around Chicago. They are related so I decided to try. Ordered Swedish pancakes. Their version was a conbination of crispy and soft - mainly crispy. I've never seen them prepared that way. Certainly not anything close to Walker's, or the ultimate, Al Johnson's in Sister Bay, WI. Also had bacon and coffee. Bacon was cooked right, medium well :) but just average. Coffee was o.k.. Place was clean and waiter very friendly and efficient.

You can always depend on this place for great food and friendly service. The host is always welcoming and the pancakes are utterly delicious! If you go there often enough, the wait staff treat you like family. Just be aware that they no longer accept cash here--just credit cards and options like Venmo and Paypal.

If you enjoy going to a restaurant where as a customer; you are in charge of cleaning your own table prior to eating. This is the place. The hostess will gladly give you bring you a napkin for you to clean. In addition, since you don't work there, you won't get paid to clean your table. However the hostess will get upset if you refuse to clean your own table. The hostess was aware of the dirty table. She gave me a napkin to clean the table after I informed her. A manager was informed and seated me at a different table. Please take accountability for the lack of professional and good customer service, and do better!

I went today and the pancakes and strawberries were good but everything else was really bad. My scrambled eggs were inedible. My son loves bacon but only ate 1 bite of his it was so bad. I don’t know how they messed up basic breakfast food.
The prices are also really high. The total came to $95 for breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids. We asked for some salsa but when we got the bill, found out there was a $2.85 charge for about 2 tablespoons of it!
The service was bad too. We had to ask another waitress where our food was and then yet another waitress to pay our bill because our waitress stopped coming back to the table.

Bacon was done perfectly. Not overcooked. Scrambled eggs were bland. Swedish pancakes were a pleasant surprise and delicious.

Ordered chicken and waffles and it was terrible. Chicken was SUPER hard and OLD. Looked like it was overheated in the microwave. It was so hard that you can't bite it or use a fork BUT have to forcefully tear it apart. When I asked for a new chicken, they gave me only two small pieces which seems like it was heated up in the microwave as well. At least the waffles were good. I've been here a few times but after today, NEVER again.

Good food! I have been searching for the best blueberry pancakes in the area. I allowed Google to steer me here. I have no regrets. I ordered the meal with blueberry pancakes, bacon, eggs and crispy cooked hash browns. The pancakes did not disappoint. They had good flavor, fresh berries and came with a blueberry sauce that was more than just sugar and compote. I tasted hints of citrus. Maybe lime zest. I don't know. But they are definitely in the running for one of the best places for pancakes. I prefer them to be more fluffy than dense. The eggs could use some seasoning. The bacon was thick cut and cooked to perfection. In the picture you cannot tell but the taste was great. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and chilled. The waffle was crispy on the outside but light and soft on the inside. Great taste with a hint of vanilla.
The restaurant was clean but no frill or decor to make the place standout. The staff was friendly and responsive. My kid and I were well taken care of. The cost was a little higher than I expected. But I will be back.

I've been to one in Dallas and the place was nicer; cleaner. This place looks run down and the walls were not clean. The food was lacking in taste and the pancakes were not fluffy at all. Just thin and without bounce. They gave a portion of eggs that is enough for four people. The eggs had no seasoning and the sausage was thin and greasy. Coffee was strong and hard to drink. Went with a friend and their crepes tasted raw and under cooked. The bacon came out blackened and again; portion of eggs and hash browns was enough for four people. Spent a little over $50 with tip. Definitely not coming back here.
