This was the first timeI went to see the Legwarmers. They are a good band, and loved their rock songs. The aspect of their performance that was challenging was their sound system that off and made ringing sounds throughout. Get a new sound check member

The singers are very good and the tikes are not too expensive.

had an issue with 2 different staff members about the handicapped bathrooms. one told me i had to go upstairs & no elevator - when i asked about a handicapped accessible one, he told me no. fisnlly asked someone else as the website says it have handicpa accessible bathrooms. while i was waiting in line a feral emstaff member told me that it was for handicapped people only, when i told her i am handicapped (and the reason why) she shook her head. not all disabilities are visible!!! just because i didn’t enter in a wheelchair doesn’t mean im not handicapped. i don’t need to explain or prove my disability to two different employees to have access to a handicapped bathroom. ridiculous. do better!

Wonderful venue for live music. Some seats on upper level and second level bar. Somewhat dated, but overall maintained.

So sad to write this. Have seen the Legwarmers many times at this venue, but last night, April 5, was the first time it was subpar, not because of the band, but because of the sound system. The vocals were almost inaudible, the music volume was disproportionately loud to the vocals, and the bass was turned up so high that many songs sounded like bass and drums only and we had to strain to hear the melody. Even with these handicaps, it was clear the band was great, but we had someone with is who had never seen them before, so we were disappointed that this was her first time hearing them. Or should I say, not hearing them. :(

Update 4/2/25: Bumped up the rating one star as the sounds has been considerably better for recent shows. If they continue on this trajectory I'll bump them up again!

Love the physical venue itself and they get a great list of tribute bands that come through here with an occasional national act mixed in. I'd love to give it five stars and wish it was worthy of those stars but I can't because of the sound.

About a third of the time the sound is great, a third of the time its OK, and a third of the time its just plain bad. I don't expect them to nail it every time, but it is a concert venue and the sound is important. I've been to too many shows here where the bass and drums overpower the guitars to the point where its hard to believe the guitars are actually hooked into the house sound system and not just their stage amps. I don't mind if its loud, just invest in a good pair of earplugs. (As an aside, think of that as a bonus as it keeps the audience conversations to a minimum if they can't hear each other. Your conversation is not why I came to the concert).

DON'T reserve a table! They simply don't honor reservations.

The 70s Music Showcase and Comedy Nights are phenomenal! This venue is a true gem in downtown Falls Church City.

Went on a recent comedy night. Great young comedians, too bad they had to entertain an older crowd that wasn’t in the know for their comedy. We were upgraded to table and the wait staff was awesome!
