I would give her 0 for her unwelcome customer service. She push u out by saying she don’t have instead of trying to help serve you in anyway she can but unfortunately she wasn’t that person! Unhappy, unkind and unprofessional of course! Didn’t enjoy the cafe at all her service and attitude makes u u don’t wanna come back! Jealousy’s attitude too!

I wanted to try something new and was so pleased with my decision to come here! I got the 4 veggie plate and enjoyed every bite. Will be back to try more new things.

We walked in around 1:30 PM and were immediately told they were closed, even though there was a line of people inside and others still seated and eating. I double-checked their posted hours—clearly states they’re open until 8 PM. We ended up going to a different nearby café, stayed about 30 minutes, and on our way out we noticed this place was still open the entire time. It felt like they picked and chose who they wanted to serve. If you don’t look like them, expect to be turned away. Very disappointing and unacceptable.

I have very bad experience with the employees.I just came from there.I was there April 22nd, talking to employee she doesn't understand she was laughing at me. They can't only treat people they speak same language good... everyone should be treated the same

One of the best tasting meals I have had in a long time, the depth of flavors was on par with some of the Micheline Star experiences I’ve had in the DC area. Awaze Tibs were so so good! Mouthwatering meat in delicious medley of sauces and veggies, I couldn’t stop eating it! And the veggie combo plate was nothing short of satisfying with an amazing array of flavors. The Ingera from Ethiopia was incredibly light and tasty. Love this place! The cashier was polite and helpful, and the chef deserves all the compliments! Will definitely be back

Nice place! The server/cashier helped me pick out something to try as I’m not familiar with Ethiopian food. It was delicious and my cappuccino came in a real mug with cocoa powder. I took one star off as it took a half hour to get my food. I’ll be returning for more drinks but I can’t wait that long for food.

I had an unpleasant experience during my recent visit. The cake I ordered was dry and tasted old, which may have been due to the fasting session when fresh cakes were not available. Additionally, I ordered two cappuccinos, but the barista topped them with cocoa powder without my request, despite not asking for chocolate milk. This was not to my liking, and I chose not to return to the counter for a replacement. I hope that future customers will have a better experience with the freshness of the baked goods and drink customizations.

Mrs Tirsit Wolde was very nice & welcoming as it is my first time in this cafe.
She made the most delicious shake without ice and I just loved it.
Thanks very much for doing such a good job.

I like to go to Addis Cafe to have the Ethiopian style ful. They have other kind of Ethiopian Cuisine also. Ful is my favorite. I ordered regular ful, the special one is with egg, and the Ethiopian coffee. I am very much enjoying it. Services were great.

Nice portions for breakfast and they were very generous with the extra avocado we asked for with the egg croissant. Penkala firfir was nicely done and came with a good sized baguette which was warm and crusty outside and soft inside . Perfect!

My friends and I recently had the pleasure of going out for brunch, and one of our friends took us to Addis Cafe in Virginia. The atmosphere was welcoming and clean, and we enjoyed reading the thoughtful messages written on the walls. We ordered Shiro, a combo platter, and Chechebsa from the menu. Everything was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back soon, and I highly recommend it.

Service was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The coffee is amazing! For us, it was branching out of our normal brunch habits and trying some new things, but we really enjoyed everything we tried. My teen loved the sambosas. I recommend Addi’s combo special to get a variety of yummy tastes. We also enjoyed the ful. I bought some of the bagged coffee and am now enjoying it as a treat at home sometimes, but honestly - I would come back even just for the coffee!

Parking: There are a limited number of parking spots in front with more around the side but all are shared by multiple businesses so some days/times are more crowded.

Kid-friendliness: Seating area is cafe style and small with small tables and chairs, some are low coffee table height with low fabric covered chairs and no high chairs.
