This place is underrated. Food is actually pretty good. The place doesn't look appealing, but actually has delicious food. Actually one of my go to spots for some some Chinese/asian comfort food. My personal Favs: Spicy Pork Chops, Chow fun with gravy (beef/Chinese broccoli), Vinh Kee chicken, also the egg noodle soup with duck and Chinese broccoli. chrysanthemum tea is 👌🏻

I ordered takeout from this place and was shocked by the quality. The chicken was severely undercooked — the bones were still red with visible blood. It’s clear that no one even bothered to check before packing it up and sending it out.
This is a serious food safety violation. Eating raw chicken can cause dangerous foodborne illnesses. Very careless and unacceptable.

We come here all the time, we had to wait longer than normal to get our food, but that's OK.
Their dim sum is always on point.
The room could be updated, I don't personally care for the mirrored wall. But I didn't come for the wall, I came for the amazing food.
The shrimp crepes are always my favorite.

Just waisted $17 on the absolute coldest and driest portion of duck I’ve ever had. Nearly every piece was nothing but skin and bone, and what little meat they served had clearly just come straight out of the fridge. Zero attempt to even reheat.
I was the only customer at 6pm, that should have been my first clue.

The first Red flag should have been the chef being outside the restaurant, second red flag the place being completely empty. We sit down and I got the shrimp and egg over rice. It was not what was described and tasted unacceptable. I tried sending it back or switching for something else and I was told I just had to deal with it but could order something else and pay for both. She was very rude about it and then included tip herself. Spare yourself from here. this is what the food looked like
Food getting expensive here.
Felt like I was ALIVE!
Their food is really hit or miss. I was impressed with their stir fry dishes like their chow fun and gai lan - both had excellent wok hay and was cooked to perfection and served hot. However, their dim sum dishes were quite disappointing - they claimed that their egg tarts were “baked fresh from the oven” but when I bit into it, the custard was stone cold and the pastry itself was very doughy. A lot of the other typical dim sum pastries were also doughy and were not fresh.
Service was quite slow and they weren’t super busy when we went in on a Sunday. We were there for almost 1.5 hours and had to constantly ask the waiter when our food was coming out. They also had a miscommunication where they forgot to bring out something and we had to remind the staff that we ordered it and then they brought out the wrong item.
Overall pretty mid experience, would order some of the specific dishes again but most of them were unfortunately a miss for me.
Great dining experience!

My wife and I visiting relatives in DC area, found this restaurant for lunch. Very unique to this family from Florida! Because the menu was so much fun, we ordered way too much food. They had giant oysters, biggest I have ever seen. I tried steamed chicken feet and steamed beef tendon, really great flavors and texture. We ordered some shrimp and vegetables wrapped in rice paste, also steamed, never seen anything like it and very good. We had selections of steamed pork buns, cuttlefish with pickled vegetables, it goes on and on. The servers were super nice and helpful. The restaurant is very basic, but busy even at lunch. A super experience.
Solid Dim Sum! The shrimp crepes were great, silky and smooth. Shrimp and Shi Mai dumpling were plump and hot. Needless to say this place beat Marks.
