I've been here several times. Today, will be the last time. The food quality is decent. Is it the best? No, but there are limited dim sum establishments...and even more limited options for vegetarian/vegan dim sum options. I'm vegetarian and my partner is an omnivore and have tried a lot of the menu. The waitstaff is generally friendly and nice! What really turns me off is the extreme disorganization of the management and the kitchen. We ordered quite a bit of food and this time (over $100, in which they charge automatic gratuity), it took over an hour an a half to get some of our order. It took so long, that we ended up canceling the rest of the items. When we brought it up with management...a younger Asian guy with a hat, he literally just shrugged and said "It's Easter".We have patronized this restaurant many times, and regardless of the day, it's always inefficient and slow...even during regular weekends with few customers in the restaurant . But the rudeness of management has shown me that this is not a place that deserves my money for okay food.Yes, the restaurant, looks run down, but as an Asian person, I've been to places like this and it's not a problem. In addition, as an Asian person, who is used to Asian service....the management is severely below average in terms of service.I would not recommend this place until the management learns how to treat people with kindness and respect.

To celebrate our 5th anniversary, my Asian wife and I decided to indulge in authentic Asian cuisine at a highly recommended restaurant. For starters, we savored the Crab Meat Asparagus Soup, which left us impressed with its delightful flavors. Moving on to the Fried Lobster, my wife enjoyed it immensely while I savored a cautious bite due to its high cholesterol content. Additionally, the Squid with Sea Salt was a standout dish, perfectly seasoned and thoroughly enjoyable. Overall, our experience was outstanding, leaving us with nothing but praise for the delicious offerings.

My absolute favorite dim sum place!!! They do a picture menu instead of carts, which is fine by me because everything comes out fresh fresh fresh! Not only do they do all the classic, typical dim sum dishes really well (har gow, shumai, baos/buns, rice noodle crepes, pork ribs in black bean sauce), they also have hard-to-find dishes that you don't see at restaurants outside of Asia. They have XO turnip cakes and Bei Fung Tong har gow! They also had a delicious fried oyster dish one time that I haven't seen on the menu. They were just bringing it out on trays and offering them to tables. I hope they bring it back or that it shows up on the menu some day. This was how we first had XO turnip cakes here before it was added to the menu. We've found that if they ever offer a dish, a good rule of thumb is to say yes. Because it will be incredibly tasty and you may never have the chance again. There's a big free parking lot right outside that I've always been able to get a spot in. They're also super accommodating to large groups. I once had a big family event here with over 20 people, and it was so easy. The event and booking process was totally stress free. It was much better than when we tried to book at competitor Hong Kong Pearl - that involved multiple rounds of phone tag only to be badgered about a minimum that kept changing and they wouldn't even guarantee everyone could be seated near each other. In contrast, Vinh Kee handled everything over one short phone call, didn't require any deposits or minimums, and seated everyone at adjacent tables. On the day of the event, everyone just had to show up. Afterwards, they all raved about the food and what a good time they had. Thanks Vinh Kee!

Really good dim sum, friendly service, and convenient location. The rice crepe with shrimp were some of the best I've had in America (and I lived in Hong Kong too). Shrimp with tofu good too.

?My fave Dim Sum restaurant in the area! It seems they've gone back to hiring staff to properly handle the capacity of business that comes in here.?Our food legit started coming to the table within 5 mins of us putting in our food order! So happy things are running smoothly around here again, we will most definitely go back to adding this to our once a month dem sum routine!? oh yeah, let's not forget to mention their ROCKSTAR waitress, Mindy! Thanks Mindy for making our dining experience even between! ?Basically, THINGS HAVE CHANGED FOR THE BETTER!

I was skeptical to eat at first when I saw the leaky ceiling, dirty tables and floors. But never judge a book by its cover, well that saying was wrong for once with this place. The food was not great I asked if they had any gf alternatives (in Cantonese and English) they said yes but it ended up just not putting in soy sauce. Then they kept asking us to add more dishes but it was just two adults and a small child. I said we didn't need that many dishes. And with that being said they had really bad attitude. Before we were done eating g they started to clean the tables (it was on around 6:30pm) They add in the tip automatically and when you say you want to change it they say it's store policy. Please don't waste your time here.

Tried their dim sum today, so bad. Some of their items tasted like stale old rags. Saw a family trying to return an item because they said it tasted bitter and smelled bad and the lady at the front berated them for it, bad customer service. Just don't go here, better options out there.

Went there for dim sum on a holiday afternoon. Ambiance was pleasant, fairly empty. Service was decent and friendly. Food came out steamy hot, but very average in flavor. Went from 3 to 2 stars because of pricing. Overpriced for average flavor and portion. $6-7 for a standard dim sum dish. Opted to try a "special" which turned out to be $12 for a dish with 4 pieces of shrimp dumpling cooked in some fried onion bits. Sorry, but that's just a rip off.

I came here before but haven't been back for many years. To my delight they have dim sum here now so that was great. Inside looks just as I remember it with plenty of seating. Service was great and the waiter gave good knowledge of the menu. We ordered most of the traditional dim sum dishes and I enjoyed the food, it was very comparable to other places in this area. After my long hiatus I plan on coming back for dim sum now. Lastly I did notice is they had the pork buns that were baked and not in the traditional puffy bread. I prefer these since the traditional buns are just too much bread for me.

Best dim sum we've had in years. We'll be back on a less busy time than noon on Christmas Day.

I haven't been back since Covid hit in 2019. So I went back this weekend. During Covid we would order takeout and we enjoyed it. This time we figure let's go sit in. It wasn't crowded which I thought was strange before I got home and looked up yelp reviews. Hmmm...there was a lot of reviews about waiters and waitress being mean, rude, but I experienced just the opposite. They were all very courteous and friendly. Being an ABC they were helpful with Cantonese and English speaking too. Food wise I liked it, but either my taste buds are off or chef changed it was okay for me. The food looked pretty good but the flavor seems off a bit. Hard to describe but wasn't as distinct For me it was between great and very good if I was asked my opinion. Food came out fast and hot. I missed Cantonese food and hearing cantonese spoken so I enjoyed my time there. I don't know about the other reviewers past complaint about the 18% service charge I might not of noticed it. If they still have a 18% service charge still in place, I would suggest they eliminate that, knowing how especially Asians hate service charges, cause that will kill the business in this area. Not a good business plan for Asian restaurants that want to keep local support. Otherwise, I enjoyed the food and the service and I hope folks will give them a try back and return.
